MemberHello jolaurin,
Sorry to hear this but thanks for contacting us! Could you send us some more information? Which caching plugin are you using?
In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?
Thanks!

MemberHello funinjerusalem,
Thanks for contacting us. I believe this is intentional, as the widget and upcoming view are the same behind the scenes. It may be helpful to change the wording on the setting:
“Recurring event instances: Show only the first instance of each recurring event (only affects list-style views and widgets).”
From what I can tell, there is currently no way simple to get what you want. You will probably need to create a template override or filter the query somehow. I don’t believe we have a tutorial for that, but I will contact the dev team to see if there is a relatively easy way to get what you want.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!
Cheers!

MemberHello apkoponen,
Sorry you are experiencing this!
What version did you update from? Could I get some more information about your server instance? 10,000 events is quite a few and depending on the theme/admin setup most consumer servers are just not cut out to handle it.
I’ll let a dev know about this, to see if I can get the right information. Our next few maintenance releases are concerning power and efficiency, so they’ll want to know about your situation.
Is there a specific admin page that is causing this, or is it every admin page? Any problems on the front end?
In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

MemberHello alex,
Yep! WooTickets is our premium addition to WooCommerce and The Events Calendar that is our out-of-the-box solution for this. We have several ticketing plugins, but WooTickets is by far our most popular solution.
However, right now we don’t have a feature for seeing attendees listed on event page. While doable, it would take some customization that isn’t supported on this forum.
If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

MemberHello barrybradford,
This one is tough!
Just to confirm, the sites are pretty much identical on the mock and live sites? Mostly, the plugins used between the two are identical?
Clearly, the text of the calendar on the live site is being… stripped… and echo’d? Somehow? It almost looks like an excerpt with the […] at the end. This is very bizarre.
For future reference, here is a screenshot with the bizarre behavior
Ordinarily, I would recommend you search for conflicts with this tutorial https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
However, since your mock site is working 100% I’m not sure how much it will help. It should get to the bottom of the problem pretty quickly, but it isn’t best to do it on a live site.
Can you tell me more about the servers? What are the companies?
In the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply? Can you do that for both sites, mock and live?
Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

MemberHello imaginate,
Thanks for upgrading and thanks for contacting us!
If I understand correctly, this should be a relatively easy solution (although an advanced feature might make it confusing).
Here are the recurring settings you’ll want to create this:
and it will create this type of event.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

July 14, 2014 at 6:21 am in reply to: Want Calendar to be wide, but events pages to have sidebar. #378863Casey D
MemberHello postpunkonline,
Thanks for contacting us! There isn’t exactly a way to do that out of the box and unfortunately that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums.
That said, I can give you a few ideas!
In the Events Settings > Display tab, I would change ‘Events Template’ to ‘Default Page Template’ to activate the sidebar for all events pages. (Your results may very depending on your theme)
Then I would use CSS to simply hide the sidebar on pages you want wide, like /events.
For instance, using the Twentytwelve theme, I used the CSS
.events-archive .widget-area { display: none; }
to remove the sidebar, and then
.events-archive .site-content { width: 100%; }
to make the calendar full size.
Your results will vary though, depending on the theme you are using, but this is the rough idea.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

MemberHello innergy4every1,
Two conflicts in one day! We’ll get you back on your feet ASAP.
I’m assuming there is one major underlining conflict that is causing these problems, along with the missing events in your other thread.
Please walk through that tutorial, to see if these problems persist.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
(If the problems go away on a neutral system, turn on each plugin one at a time, slowly. When the problem comes back you know the source of your conflict)
Also, in the WP-Admin, at the bottom of the Events > Settings > Help tab, there will be a ‘systems settings’ box. Can you copy that and paste it into a private reply?

MemberHello innergy4every1,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry you are experiencing these complications!
It can be tough to troubleshoot these types of situations, because each WordPress install is unique with different plugins, themes and configurations.
More than likely, there is a conflict with one of your plugins. Will you please walk through this tutorial, to see if you can identify the conflict?
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/testing-for-conflicts/
Once we know the source of the conflict we may then be able to resolve it.
Cheers!
