ParticipantI’ve now come across some 3+ Support posts regarding the disappearance of the View All Events text link that is supposed to show at the bottom of days when the number of events exceeds the max events in Settings. This worked on our DEV site until we purchased the PRO version of Event Calendar and upgraded the Event Calendar plugin, now it is gone. However, when the page loads, for a moment you can see the space for it show, then get removed. Help?

ParticipantUpdate on this, I pulled our original plugin from our initial DEV site to our new site, and renamed the current versions of “the-event-calendar” and “events-calendar-pro” (adding “1” to the plugin folders), and the “View All X Events” link was back! So something in the new “the-event-calendar” plugin is not allowing this to work. I’ve still not found the Tweet that I saw that showed one of the Tribe telling a user that this feature was removed due to a problem with old events showing up. — Bottom line, the function has been removed somehow, and we need it back. Please advise ASAP. Support is one reason we bought the PRO version. Thanks!

ParticipantLooks like Rob answered this on another post: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/month-view-show-all-events-for-a-date-broken/. Adding DAY to views brings the link back, but if you don’t want the DAY option at top, you’ll have to use CSS to hide it.

MemberHello bingdesign,
Whoa, I just discovered this post in my queue, sorry I missed it! This is failing on our end, sorry for the delay!
From what I can tell though this is all wrapped up for now. As of 3.6 this all works without PRO, as the Day view was moved to the core plugin. The ‘Day’ view is needed to show the events of that day (thus triggering the link in the ‘Month’ view), but that does also put it in the list.
Did you need help figuring out the css for removing it from the list?
Sorry for the delay again! Cheers!

MemberHi there,
I just wanted to drop in and update you on the status of this issue. We are working on a fix, but we were not able to include it in our upcoming release (3.7). Correcting this problem is still important to us and we hope to have a fix done for a future maintenance release. We will do our best to keep you updated here on our progress. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work on this.
Best,
