MemberHello shenandoahu,
I’d love to help with this, but unfortunately that level of customization goes beyond the scope of the forums.
If you can find the tutorial, I might be able to update it if it is not working, but we prioritize support first.
Do you think you’d be able to find the doc?
Thanks for your understanding!

MemberHello barrybradford,
We try to keep our threads focused on just one problem at a time. This ensures that we are addressing each specific problem instead of a general group one, and not possibly missing anything unique your situation.
To that end, would you mind opening up a new topic here about your issues? If you could please detail in your own words exactly what your problem is (instead of just linking here), that will go a long way towards helping you get this issue resolved as fast as possible. I hope you understand our reasoning here and do not mind this extra step, we have just found it serves our users best.
Thanks a ton!

MemberHello apkoponen,
This is tough! It’s hard to say exactly is the problem, but since it was a major upgrade covering several versions, my guess is the process is still upgrading. The 3.4 to 3.5 upgrade had a major mysql upgrade, where we shifted the db schema, to build a stronger feature set down the road.
It’s difficult to say what your exact course of action should be, and we don’t exactly have a playbook for an edge case like this. If it were me, after a few years experience maintaining these sorts of things, I would do a complete upgrade on a local system (where you would have a stronger CPU and much more memory) and then migrate the data to your production site. With 10,000 events (on a production server), my gut says it is just going to hang until it is completed. I might be wrong though.
Here is our article update about the 3.5 schema updates https://theeventscalendar.com/release-events-calendar-pro-3-5-2-hotfix/

Nevermind! Turns out this is a well documented problem, please accept my apologies!
This tut should fix it, https://theeventscalendar.com/garbled-events-page-fix/

MemberHello barrybradford,
Sorry for the delay! This is a super bizarre problem, and we’re not sure we have very many ideas. If everything is identical between the sites, we think there may be a setting issue that is the difference. In you Events Settings > Display tab, what templates are you using? If you are using something other than the ‘Default Events Template’, your Canvas theme may be cause these issues.

MemberHello restoreoregon,
This is easier than you might think (only 3 line from what I can tell), and it is more php than javascript!
You just need to get the organizer name of the event, set it in an array, pass the array in as additional data to be converted to json and then call that new object in the tooltip template.
You’ll have to style it how you want, but this shows how to get the organizer name in the tooltip. Lines 188 and 192 on single-event.php along with line 20 of tooltip.php are the only changes from the base template.

MemberHello wfaa,
I believe the fastest way to get what you want is to use this 3rd party plugin created by one of our devs.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-housekeeper/
We don’t officially support it, and be sure to use a proper back up system as it deletes data, but it will clean up your prior events.

MemberHello indygraphics,
Thanks for contacting us! Sorry that feature isn’t currently supported. You can only set the max for each type of ticket.
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/set-amount-of-event-tickets-at-different-prices/
If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.
A work around may be to offer different coupons off the largest price, if the tickets have different costs. Just offer one ‘General Admission’ ticket type, set to a quantity of 100 for $40, and a ‘Child’, ‘Senior’ coupon/discount for $20. It’s not a very great work around, but may get the job done.
