    Hello Ian,

Thanks for contacting us! WooCommerce Tickets is absolutely our best ticketing solution, both by popularity and review. You will be able to accomplish all the things listed in your post. Since it leverages the power of WooCommerce, it is the strongest. EDD is probably a close second, but it isn’t a fully fledged e-commerce solution like WooCommerce.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Cheers!

    Hello David,

Thanks for contacting us. We unfortunately don’t have any solutions for that out of the box.

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

    Cheers!

    Hello aling,

Actually, here is a shorter version:

    /events/photo/?tribe_event_display=past

    Hello aling,

For now that is only possible with a url query:

    /events/photo/?action=tribe_photo&tribe_paged=1&tribe_event_display=past

Sorry it isn’t as clean as you’d like!

    Hello aling,

Thanks for contacting us! I think I mostly understand your question, but may need some more information.

The main link you’re looking for is /events/past/. That will display all events that are ‘archived’.

Otherwise, there isn’t a clear distinction in the code base to separate a ‘past’ event from a ‘current’ one. If a user wants to keeping navigating back, they will seamlessly run into ‘past’ events as it is one large calendar.

Off the top of my head, maybe you could add a ‘past event’ tag to old events, and change the main tribe_get_events() query to ignore that tag. Does that make sense?

Also, <i>maybe </i>you could implement a js solution that hides events and/or nav if those events/nav is before the current day? Just spitballing here.

Otherwise I’m not sure of easy ways to implement what you currently have out of the box.

Let me know if I can help with anything else, of if this doesn’t answer your question!

    Cheers!

    Hello memeco,

Thanks for contacting us! Unfortunately that level of customization does go beyond the scope of the forums. 🙁

Off the top of my head, I’m not even sure this is possible as the tribe_event cpt and whatever bbpress uses are inherently different.

Maybe (a GIANT maybe) you could use a save_post filter to auto create a bbpress post when an event is created? It would have to have a different slug, but it might work. Like if you called it event-name-discussion or something. I’m not sure this is very feasible though.

Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Good luck!

    Hello erionmedia,

Thanks for contacting us, sorry you are having these troubles!

I’d like to able to reproduce the issue, to better troubleshoot it. Could you send us your .csv to [email protected]? Feel free to add more info regarding which venues aren’t catching, etc.

Does this make sense? Let me know if I can explain anything else!

    Cheers!

    Hello andyperdue,

Sorry for the delay, we were cooking up a solution for you.

Previously, we didn’t have a very good response and it was something akin to “don’t allow anonymous submissions” or “don’t make it public facing”, which isn’t a very good answer.

We worked up a plugin that uses the Really Simple Captcha plugin to quickly add a captcha to your form. It isn’t the most robust solution, but I believe you’ll find it to be very effective.

We are working through the final process on this small extension. It should be safe to use, but just so you’re aware it is still unofficially supported at this point, you may want to read through it and install on a trial site first to make sure it works for you.

    https://github.com/caseypatrickdriscoll/patched_up_community_events_captcha

I’ll report back when it is officially approved to launch.

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

    Cheers!

    Hello pickleshy,

Thanks for contacting us! I’m afraid to say I’m a bit lost on your request, could I get a few more details?

Also, that level of customization typically goes beyond the scope of the forums. However if you can get me some more info, hopefully I can give you some pointers!

    Cheers!

    Hello tinsterman,

There are a number of ways to accomplish this, but none that work immediately out of the box.

The only way for this to work out of the box is with coupons, and I don’t believe that is what you are looking for.

Otherwise, our WooCommerce Tickets plugin should work with most WooCommerce extensions, link this product-bundles extension, but I can’t guarantee it.

I’m not sure of a way to have two different prices. I think you’ll have to advertise a coupon internally.

If you have a moment, we’d love for you to submit your idea to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases.

Sorry I didn’t have a better answer this time around. Let me know if I can help with anything else!

    Hello heartsidegrove,

Thanks for contacting us, my guess is a theme conflict. Which theme are you using?

Can you walk through this tutorial, turn off plugins and themes, to see if it still persists?

Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
