MemberHello jasminchang,
Thanks for contacting us!
We released a PRO update as well. You will be prompted to upgrade automatically if you have a valid license entered.
Otherwise, you can download it at https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ and upload it manually.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.

MemberHello kellymarie2001,
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for the confusion!
You’ll have to buy the Filter Bar plugin for those additional features. The Filter Bar is a robust set of features that isn’t needed by everyone, so we rolled it into its own plugin to focus costs and development!
Here is the Filter Bar section of the page, everything else is standard.

MemberHello joinfof,
Thanks for contacting us and pointing this out! We updated our lit to add better instruction.
There is not yet an admin setting, but we did make a filter to easily change this. The details are listed on #3 of this post.

MemberHello mahbub,
Thanks for contacting us!
From what I can tell, this should not be an issue with 3.7. I think you have some WooCommerce stuff conflicting, maybe? Your <dt> are floated.
Once you remove that float they go back to the stock view.

MemberHello Tyler,
Thanks for contacting us!
1. The Events Calendar is a free and robust calendar solution, available on the WordPress.org repo. You don’t need PRO to run our EDD integration.
Headway has been a known problem for us though, I’m not sure I can promise it will work out of the box. I would try just running The Events Calendar first. If you can get that to work, I believe PRO and EDD Tickets would work, but your mileage may vary.
2. We have future plans for recurring events, but nothing to announce for now. I would not plan on this feature when building your site, we cannot promise its delivery.
3. As far as I know, it should be compatible with all EDD gateways.
4. I believe it is a meta option for every Event post type, so it will have to be saved each time. I think you could apply a ‘save_post’ action to add that meta if you wanted to though. We wouldn’t be able to support that customization though.

MemberHello Barry Hutchison,
‘Yes’ you should be able to do that!
However, that is not exactly a feature that is supported out of the box. All events are Custom Post Types, so it will be very easy to create a custom theme WP_Query in your template, searching for ‘tribe_events’ post type.
You can also query for one of our widgets (create a widgetable area) and format it for your front page.
You may find the Event Rocket plugin to be very useful. It is experimental and we are not able to support it, but it was created by one of our developers and it might give you some of the answers you’re looking for. You can use shortcodes to put our widgets in any place.

MemberHello Todd Garvin,
Thanks for contacting us! The answer is ‘yes, absolutely!’ PRO is a premium add-on that only adds functionality without hurting anything else, so you can add and remove it from your system at will.
Of course, when adding any new plugin, please make sure you have a recent backup of your site before you start! I’m assuming nothing bad will happen, but better to be safe than sorry.

MemberHello Matt,
Thanks for contacting us! We don’t yet have a great solution for multisite licensing, it is pretty much the honor system to be honest.
Only one license is needed for multisites at Network Admin > Settings > Event Settings > Licenses tab. The license is just used for automatic downloads and support, so it is only need once per main domain. Business and Develop licenses are used for multiple separate sites, on separate domains.
So for now you can get away with a Personal license, at a technical level. The plugin will work 100% regardless of the license entered though, including no license (it is just for auto downloads and support). If you wanted support for each individual site though, you’ll need a license for each, if that makes sense.
However, if you wanted to encourage healthy growth for our plugin and community, we of course encourage you to purchase a license for each (for now that would just be multiple Developer licenses in your case).
If you would like to see larger bulk licensing at lower costs, we’d love for you to submit this to our UserVoice forum. We take user ideas and contributions very seriously, and many times their ideas end up in our future releases. There currently is much demand for that, that we know of at least.

MemberHello Martyn,
Here is a link to our WP-Shindig theme!
You’ll find that most popular themes work well out of the box, especially those on the WordPress.org repo with over 100,000 downloads.
We also partnered with Theme Forest developers to launch a number of Events Calendar compatible themes.

MemberHello Dennis,
Thanks for contacting us!
Our WooCommerce Tickets extension is easily our most popular extension. WooCommerce itself is immensely robust, with its own substore of extensions.
Your mileage may vary, but I would check out their Authorize.net extension. We cannot guarantee that it will work with ours, but I see no reason why it would not.

MemberHello xopom,
I’m not sure our plugin will work exactly how you want it to work with that theme. Our plugin doesn’t use a Page post type but uses a built in redirect, or ‘virtual page’.
However, we allow users to add html and shortcodes before and after the calendar in the Event Settings > Display tab.
Is there a shortcode for the slider? That would be the best way to insert it.
If you check out our Themer’s Guide, you could probably make a template override to display what you want.

July 28, 2014 at 1:42 pm in reply to: List view – adding a class to the month tribe-events-list-separator-month span #527749Casey D
MemberHello blitz,
This was a bit of a learning experience for me to0, but I think I grasped it!
You don’t want the first filter ‘tribe_events_list_show_date_headers’, that is just a boolean to control whether you want the headers to show at all. It sounds like you want them, with an added class
‘apply_filters’ will return any hooked filter result, using the function add_filter(). Then you just search the content you want and improve it.
This is basically what you are looking for:

MemberHello bfaulds,
Thanks for contacting us!
1. Yep! We have several ticketing solutions for charging customers. Our WooCommerce Tickets solution is by far the most popular.
2. I don’t believe there is a default way to do this, but they can search on the map view. Here is an example of that.
3. As far as I know, there isn’t an out-of-the-box solution for making directions, but there is map support for single events if the venue is properly addressed. See this event as an example. Users should then be able to get directions through Google Maps.
Does this make sense? Let me know if this doesn’t work for you.
