    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

What about using the functions from the single-event template to display the information how you like?

The address is broken up into more pieces in this file:

    the-events-calendar\src\views\modules\address.php

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins. I can help out here.

I tried out that coding and it did not hide my event times, but did prevent all past events from showing.

Do you have a link to where this is happening and I can take a look?

    Let me know.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having with this.

    I can help out.

First you can disable the Recaptcha for Community Events Here:

Events > Settings > Community Tab > reCAPTCHA API Keys

Remove both keys and it will no longer show.

I did take a look at your site and see a textarea below the reCAPTCHA, which should not be there.

Do you have another plugin for reCAPTCHA or any custom coding from the past that added reCAPTCHA to the Community Events Form?

As it appears there is two reCAPTCHA scripts running.

Let me know what you find out and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Hi Gwyneth,

Thanks for purchasing Pro. I can try to help out here.

We do not have a feature to do as you describe.

I maybe to help out getting you started on a customization or provide some css to do this.

Do you have a link to your site where the widget is and I can take a look.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for using our plugins I can help out here.

Do you have a link to your site so I can take a look? You can provide it as a private reply.

Are you customizing the template in the theme or in the plugin?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Hi,

Thanks for the interest in our plugins.

You can use any of the ticketing plugins with the core version of the Events Calendar found for free on WordPress.org: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/

You do not need to purchase Pro for any of the plugins to work.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for using Pro.

    I can help out.

I am not aware of a method of disabling the Pro Event List Widget.

Did you only modify the templates in your theme? Can I help get them transferred to the Pro List Widget?

This is the location of the list widget template:

    events-calendar-pro\src\views\pro\widgets\list-widget.php

And the single events for the List Widget and Mini Calendar Widget:

    events-calendar-pro\src\views\pro\widgets\modules\single-event.php

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for providing that information.

I did not see anything that would cause the issue with those settings.

Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

And see if that can narrow down the cause of this.

Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am not seeing those issues on all my site and did all the initial testing in Month View.

I visited your site and the month view looks to be working for me.

As for the double Events in the title I am not seeing that in my theme either. If you change themes does it still display the double events?

I can try to help troubleshoot this, but I am limited if the theme is causing this issue.

To modify a part of your theme on the event archive pages you can use these conditionals to display the content you would like:

    Hi Chris and Douglas,

Thanks for your input. I am going to have to respectfully disagree. We do indeed follow WordPress Standards to the best we can and I am going to disagree with the assessment with On The Go Systems that we bypass the API and the loop. However, WordPress was never setup to handle events. So all the event queries are custom queries if we did not do that we would have no event views.

Both our plugins are trying to help out the end user with something WordPress does not provide. We are providing a way to mange events and they are building a way to create customized templates without coding. Both are dealing with customized templates, which only increases the chance of conflicts so it is not surprising at all there is an issue.

Now having said that we are willing to work with any plugin developer or theme developer to try and resolve any conflicts, but will also do not guarantee compatibility with any additional third party themes, plugins, scripts, or applications per our terms and conditions.

I will talk to the team and see if we can get a hold of someone at onTheGoSystems and go from there.

    Thanks

Ok I was able get the following to work to prevent Yoast SEO from rewriting the Event View Titles.

    https://gist.github.com/jesseeproductions/f4937c82325ab152cb24

Just add that to your theme’s functions.php file and you it should fix this.

Let me know if that fixes the issue for you.

    Thanks

    Hi Joel,

    Sorry for the issues here.

It appears this is happening because of a recent update to Yoast SEO, but it is not clear the exact cause of the issue.

I am looking into it and will update you once I have something narrowed down.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugins.

I am limited on supporting 3rd party coding so I am not sure how much I can do here.

Our event templates are not pages, but archives so that can cause some issues.

On those templates we do modify the query for the page so we can display the events by the start date (among many other things) and not by the publish date.

Beyond that I do not have anything else on this unfortunately.

Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

I visited your site and see what you mean.

I did not see an obvious reason why it is always showing the mobile month view.

Can you please follow our testing for conflicts guide and see if that helps narrow down the cause.
