ParticipantHi, brightestspark. Thanks for the offer. That would be most appreciated.
Please set up an account for us and post the details in a private reply here. We’ll take them down as soon as we have them. 🙂

ParticipantHi, Jesse. As I mentioned in the other thread in the Eventbrite Forum, this is almost certainly caused by your Theme. If, as you stated above, you still see the same behavior in a WP default theme, I’d appreciate you letting us check it out.
Based on what we were able to see yesterday, the markup looked great until it was rendered in the browser, pointing to either something with JS or this issue (http://pippinsplugins.com/use-the_title-and-the_title_attribute-correctly/) reagarding use of the_title() and the_title_attribute(). It might also be worth checking in with your theme developer.
Let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantFor anyone else that wants to do this, just go to Plugins > WooTickets > Views > WooTickets > Tickets.php and update the values to your desired quantity in lines 52 & 53.
Hi, Nathan. Our goal here is to help put you and other users on the path. I’m glad that you were able to get what you needed. 🙂
Since you’re all set, I’m going to close this thread. Please open another if there’s anything else we can do to help!

ParticipantHi, Cynthia. First, let me apologize for your frustration. I definitely know what it’s like to fight with a piece of software, and that’s the last thing we want you to feel when working with our plugins! 🙂
We really have tried to make everything easy to install and configure, and as far as we know, our New User Primers and ReadMe files are up to date. If we failed you there, we’re very sorry.
I’m having trouble finding in the New User Primer or ReadMe file where our instructions diverge from what you’d see in the current release of Eventbrite Tickets. We would be very grateful if you’d point out where the instructions broke down for you so that we can make sure to rectify it. 🙂
Looking at your site, it appears that you’ve successfully configured the Eventbrite Tickets add-on and have tickets associated with your events. Well done! 🙂 In case you’re interested, I notice that some of the iFrames aren’t quite tall enough to show everything without scrolling. This tutorial might help you customize that behavior for your site: https://theeventscalendar.com/changing-the-height-of-the-eventbrite-tickets-iframe/
Please remember that we’re always here to help you troubleshoot and get you pointed in the right direction. Don’t hesitate to let us know how we can be of assistance! 🙂

ParticipantHi, Jesse. First, let me apologize for your frustration. That’s never our intention, and we certainly want to make sure it doesn’t happen again! 🙂
While we try to encourage potential buyers to read the product page in full before buying to get a clear picture of what the plugin can and cannot do, it’s apparent we failed you by not making that clear enough. If you have any feedback on how we could have been more obvious with the features up front, so others don’t face your same disappointment down the road, we’d love to hear it.
As far as the purchase price goes, please remember that you’re not just paying for the simple iframe feature, but also, the ability to import events and, perhaps more importantly, to create event tickets directly within WordPress, which is a real boon to many of our users. Moreover, you’re also paying for support – which we pride ourselves on and for which we have a bit of a reputation. 🙂
As far as customizing the plugin goes, beyond our Themer’s Guide to the Events Calendar and our extensive Technical Documentation, our tutorials are a great resource for you. Here’s one describing how to customize the size of the iFrame from Eventbrite: https://theeventscalendar.com/changing-the-height-of-the-eventbrite-tickets-iframe/
I also encourage you to use the forum search. It may not be very pretty, but you’re likely to find someone who’s run up against the same issue you’re having.
Regarding the display error you’re experiencing, upon closer inspection, it appears that the markup is just fine, and the issue is happening when the page is being rendered in the browser. It’s likely a symptom of this issue, which affects many third-party themes,: http://pippinsplugins.com/use-the_title-and-the_title_attribute-correctly/
Did you try testing your site in a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Twelve? If you did and you saw the same behavior, then that’s definitely something we’d like to help you get to the bottom of.Sorry for the long-winded reply. I hope this helps get things back on track for you. Please let us know how your testing goes and what else we can do to be of assistance! 🙂

ParticipantHi, semacore. I hope no news is good news, but I just thought I’d check in with you. Did you want to pursue this further?
In accordance with our policy, if I don’t hear from you by end of day tomorrow, I’ll be closing this thread. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi, kineticbuzz. Since it’s been a couple of weeks, I’m going to assume that upgrading resolved your issue. If not, please open a new thread, and we’ll help you get it sorted out.
Thanks for your support!

ParticipantHi, dremaster. As it’s been three weeks since your last post, I’m going to close this thread. Please start a new one if you decide to continue to pursue this issue.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Nathan. Thanks for getting in touch about changing the default setting for tickets.
Unfortunately, that kind of customization is outside the scope of what we can offer in this forum. I’m happy to point you to a couple of thread that may put you on the right track! 🙂
In particular, these two threads look like they might be helpful:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/how-to-make-woocommerce-tickets-appear-in-woocommerce-shop-page/#post-70469
I’d also recommend you check out our Technical Documentation and Themer’s Guide, linked in the sidebar, for tips.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help! 🙂

ParticipantHi, rocabola. I’m sorry to hear about your situation. That sounds really frustrating.
If you mark the orders complete manually, does it work normally? If so, that might be something you want to take up with the WooCommerce Autocomplete Order Plugin’s developer.

ParticipantHi, Simon. Thanks for asking about this bug.
Unfortunately, we’re not at liberty to discuss specifics about timelines, but rest assured that this is definitely a high priority bug for us. We expect the fix to be rolled out in an upcoming maintenance release.
Thanks for your support!

ParticipantHi, bennowlan. That is certainly odd. Have you installed and activated the PRO plugin yet?

ParticipantHi, Darryl. You may need to rename the existing plugin’s folder. It won’t overwrite by default.
Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantWow! So glad to hear that made the difference (even if I have no idea why it would have).
Thanks for letting us know, chrisnewell4444. We’re very glad to have you as part of the community!
