ParticipantHi, ddyer. Thanks for asking about de-registering your old site. This is actually something that you can do yourself! 🙂
Check out this mini tutorial for details: https://theeventscalendar.com/finding-your-pro-license-key-re-downloading-the-plugin/#key_disconnect
Once the keys are no longer registered with the old site, you should be able to plug them into the new one.
Let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantHi, navgrief. Sounds like you’ve gotten yourself most of the way there. Well done! 🙂
To get the Event Cost field back, please try out this snippet: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-cost-disabled-with-wootickets-and-i-want-it-back/#post-64070
Hopefully, that’s what you’re looking for. 🙂 If not, please let us know, and we’ll do our best to get you sorted. Thanks!

ParticipantHi, ads. Since you’re talking about modifying one of the WooCommerce templates (not The Events Calendar or WooCommerce Tickets), that’s definitely their department. 🙂
If they have any specific questions for us, just drop us line. Unfortunately, creating custom WooCommerce templates is outside the scope of the support we can offer in this forum.
Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantHi, cozzette. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having this issue.
Let me walk you through a couple of troubleshooting steps that I’d appreciate you trying.
First, it would be a good idea to deactivate all three plugins that we’re working with: The Events Calendar, WooCommerce, and WooCommerce Tickets. Once they’re all deactivated, please reactivate them one-by-one in this order:
1. The Events Calendar
2. WooCommerce
3. WooCommerce TicketsAlso, I notice that you’re using an old version of our plugins. It’s a good idea to make sure that you’re running the latest version of all of your plugins. Please look into updating to see if that makes a difference. 🙂

ParticipantHi, Jesse. Thank you for your thoughtful, candid reply. We definitely value your feedback.
I’m sorry that the upgrade cycle kind of bit you in the butt. I do know the feeling of thinking you’re almost done with something just to be hit by a big setback. The update to 3.0 was challenging for many users (myself included, actually), and we apologize for any pain caused there.
We are certainly taking the feedback about our support forums and resources to heart. Actually, a complete redesign is in the works, and we hope to make things much more intuitive and easy to find. Until then, your best bet is the sidebar, especially the Tutorials and Snippets.
Our goal with the basic calendar is to offer something that is robust and extensible while not being overloaded. The add-ons are to give premium functionality that applies to a more limited subset of our users, plus access to responsive support forums. Specifically with regard to the Eventbrite Tickets add-on, we are, unfortunately, fairly constrained by what the Eventbrite API will allow. We are planning on overhauling it at some point to make it integrate with the ticketing interface we’ve used for WooCommerce Tickets and the soon-to-be-launched WPEC Tickets add-ons, but I can’t make any promises as to when that will make it into production.
In an ideal world with unlimited time and resources, we would definitely offer more, but unfortunately, we have to operate under the constraints that we have. We are continually adding more resources, and I personally have a couple of things in the pipeline that may exactly what you’re after! If you have further feedback or would like to make sure that there’s something that’s considered when evaluating which features to prioritize, we’d be very grateful if you would post on our User Voice page at https://tribe.uservoice.com/ We’ll be sure to factor those in when plotting the product’s broader roadmap.
Thanks again for your support, Jesse, and please let me know if anything else comes up that we can help you with. 🙂

ParticipantHi, ads. Thanks for getting in touch about this customization. It definitely sounds like a great idea.
For help with manipulating the templates in WooCommerce, the WooThemes Ninjas are going to be the experts. 🙂 If while working with them, they have any specific questions for us, please feel free to relay them here. Most everything you and they need for pulling information from The Events Calendar should be explained in our Technical Documentation at docs.tri.be.
Thanks for being a TEC user! 🙂

ParticipantHi, digitallifesciences. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having an issue with errors coming up.
Would you mind posting the error so that we could look into it? Also, it would be helpful to be able to see the site in question. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, artworkcreative. I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issue with the WooCommerce checkout.

ParticipantHi, Jared. A custom plugin is an excellent solution. Well done.
A fix will definitely be in the upcoming maintenance release. At that point, you will be able to delete your plugin. 🙂
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Kelly
ParticipantThank you for your patience, Eric!
Since you’re set for now, I’m going to close this thread. Please open a new one if anything else comes up.

ParticipantHi, Thomas. Hope your site is doing well! 🙂
If you have hardcoded your links on your site, then changing the way they’re structured may well break those old links. The codex article on Permalinks is a really good reference for all your questions regarding the finer points: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks
Good luck!

ParticipantThanks for the feedback, brightestspark. We really value input from our user community! 🙂
