The 1st day of October is showing on Monday instead of Tuesday and therefore is pushing every event one day earlier. When clicking refresh on the calendar page, sometimes it reverts to the correct days and sometimes it goes a day earlier (incorrect) dates.

It is happening on a multisite evironment at natomasunified.org which will launch later this month. You can see this happening on leroygreene.com/events (a site within the multisite install on natomasunified.org).

I’ve never seen anything like it and I noticed this when recently updating to Event Calendar & Pro v3.1

Here is a link to see whats happening: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s54/sh/369dc816-b95c-4d69-83ca-926f2dd372fd/ef4275ef561b35d3d8a760d6dc67ce6a

I just noticed this also on my site but only in the sidebar calendar on the home page and the Calendar page. It has the 1st of October starting on a Monday. If I got to other pages, it is correct with it starting on a Tuesday. See it wrong on http://events.stcwdc.org/, http://events.stcwdc.org/events, and see it right on http://events.stcwdc.org/2013/10/12/teach-an-hour-of-code-in-your-classroom-dec-9-15/

Hi, folks! I’m sorry to say that you’ve been bitten by a bug that snuck out under our radar in this release.

Rest assured that our upcoming maintenance release will take care of it. Until then, please use this snippet to patch the version that you’re currently running: https://theeventscalendar.com/fix-for-incorrect-dateday-combos-in-month-view/

    Thanks for your support! 🙂

Hi – I’ve added the snippet, but it did not fix the issue on my client’s site. On the calendar page (http://www.victoriachamber.org/events/), October was starting on the wrong day of the week. It appears that the update changed the site’s General settings to say that the week started on Monday (it had been set to Sunday). After changing it back to Sunday, that fixed the error.

But the sidebar widget version of the calendar is still messed up. It’s showing the current day as being October 16, but today is the 18th. It also doesn’t show any events when you hover over any day except the fake “current” day.

Wanted to add that I did try deactivating all other plugins and clearing the cache, and that did not fix the issue. This site is running on a Genesis child theme. I also noticed that if I click back to September on the sidebar widget, it only shows a couple of dates as having events when in reality all of the days in that month have events.

Hi, Dorian. I’ve been checking out your site, and it looks like there are some other issues at work here. Would you mind starting a new thread so that we can work through them together without taking over dlishdesign’s?

Also, when posting, please include the place where I can see the TEC sidebar widget calendar. So far, I could only find the WP calendar widget.

    Thanks!

Hi, Cynthia. I wanted to check in and see how you were doing. Did that snippet resolve the issue for you?

    Sayyadina,
We are running into this issue as well. Our entire site revolves around one week out of the year (Houston Beer Week), which starts this November 9, so as you may imagine, this is affecting us severely and we need an immediate resolution. From a client:

    *****************************************
Some of the events that I submitted show in the wrong day on the calendar. When you scroll on them or click on them it does show the correct date. I gave an example below. Fort Bend is on the 12th but shows in the calendar on the 11th. Saint Arnold is on the 11th and shows on the 10th. Buffalo is on the 13th and shows on the 12th. Karbach is on the 15th and shows on the 14th.
I also noticed some other differences for a few other events. There are three events listed on the 8th but they are all for the 9th. The Cask Engine Takeover at Hay Merchant shows to be on the 10th but the date in the event is the 11th.
    ***********************************
We’ve had issues with other calendar plugins/apps/software in the past, and we looked toward Modern Tribe as a solid solution. We tested “Community Events” very thoroughly before implementing it, and it seems that the affected upgrade occurred post-testing.

    The affected calendar:

Please help, if this isn’t resolved immediately it could be catastrophic for us.

    Thanks for looking into this.

    Hi, Jay. Great question!

Did you have a chance to try the snippet that I posted above (https://theeventscalendar.com/fix-for-incorrect-dateday-combos-in-month-view/)? That should get you back in business.

    Thanks!
