ParticipantHi, hallgeirg. It looks like you’re all set to create tickets.
Just scroll down on the event editing page to the Tickets section and click on the button to “Add New Ticket”.
Let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantHi, gregoiregarneau. Great idea!
I have not heard of a way that you could enable that using WooCommerce Tickets. If you’d like to request it as a feature in our UserVoice forum, we’d be very grateful: https://tribe.uservoice.com/ 🙂
Thanks so much!

ParticipantThat’s fantastic news. Well done, sazzybee! Thanks so much for letting us know!

ParticipantHi, Marcus. This is an excellent question.
Unfortunately, I don’t know of a simpler way to do it at present. I’m actually impressed that you’ve put something together that will do the job so nicely!
Sorry I can’t be of more help! 🙂

ParticipantHi, columinate. Great question!
Since this is happening both on the Events Calendar and WooCommerce pages (2 separate plugins by different developers), it sounds like this may be an issue with your theme. Did the issues persist when you changed to a WP default theme like Twenty Twelve?

ParticipantHi, luckywebs. Unfortunately, I don’t have good news for you. Here are the notes from our developer who took a look:
I logged in with the info you posted and unfortunately, that site doesn’t have the permissions correct for the theme editor to work, so I couldn’t see if they had the gist installed.
There’s not much we can do in these cases, because other plugins or themes enqueuing the Google maps API, alongside ours. The snippet will dequeue ours, but they may even have more than one other plugin enqueuing it, in which case it could still be enqueued multiple times, even when ours is dequeued.
The Google maps API can only be included once in the page, for any maps to work. This isn’t a problem with our plugin; it’s just how google maps works, and they’ll have to make sure their combination of theme and plugins play nice together.

I’m sorry we couldn’t make it work for you. Best of luck in your further testing!

ParticipantHi, Chris. I definitely understand your reticence.
We’ve had 100% positive feedback on using the snippet. If you are nervous, I suggest setting up a test bed to try it out before making changes to your live site.
Please let us know how it goes! 🙂

ParticipantUnfortunately, not yet, John. I promise, we’ll let you know as soon as we have something for you! 🙂
I’m sorry to keep you waiting. Thanks for your continued patience!

ParticipantHi, sazzybee. That certainly sounds like a pickle.
Have you had a chance to try our normal troubleshooting steps: change your theme to a WP default theme like Twenty Twelve and deactivate all other plugins? Did you still see the same behavior then?
Since the ticket sales are actually a function of WooCommerce, you may want to ask the question to the WooNinjas, too.

ParticipantHi, hallgeirg. I’m sorry this is proving so frustrating.
First, I’d like to ask if you’ve installed The Events Calendar and WooCommerce. You will need all three plugins installed to sell tickets.
You do not need Events Calendar Pro unless you need those particular features it offers.

ParticipantSorry about that! Your best bet (and what we do), is create a paste (at pastebin) or gist (at github) for them and then put the link in the post.
We hope to have a better solution soon, but we’re not close enough to have a launch date for it. Believe me that you are not alone! 🙂
November 14, 2013 at 6:34 am in reply to: Is it possible to intermix event posts with regular posts? #76425Kelly
ParticipantHi, Cynthia. I think what you’re asking is how to order events by creation date, rather than start date. Great question!
Here’s a snippet to drop into your theme’s functions.php file to change that behavior: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/7129020 You’ll also need the Include in Blog Loop setting checked.
Please let us know how it goes!

ParticipantFantastic! Thanks for letting us know, jrucker. We’re sorry it took so long to get you back in business.
