issues with event venues and error when migrating data.

When I migrate data from version 1.6.5 to 3.2 (I even tried 3.1) It will give the following error.

Moreover, venues are not coming in, they’re being names “unnamed venue” when on 1.6.5 they were filled out.

Hi, jddvette. Great question!

The update from v1.x to v2.x was significant enough that it requires you do that first, before attempting to update to v3.2. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.

Your best bet is to roll back to the v1.6.5 release and then update to v2. Please check out these instructions here: https://theeventscalendar.com/migrating-from-events-calendar-1-6-5-to-2-0/
