ParticipantThanks you, maze! 🙂 Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to be of assistance!
Kelly
ParticipantAbsolutely, jmbalsa! 🙂
For the widget, that’s configured when you add it to the sidebar: http://d.pr/i/qegN. For the main calendar pages, you simply navigate to the appropriate URL, e.g. yoursite.com/events/category/category-slug/.
Does that make sense? Is there anything else I can help you with?

ParticipantHi, runwildmissoula. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default WP theme like Twenty Twelve to see if a conflict may be causing the behavior?
Kelly
ParticipantWow! That’s definitely unexpected, runwildmissoula. Does the same thing happen with a brand new event?

ParticipantHi, maze. The short answer is that ticketing does not work with recurrence at this time.
The ticketing framework is universal to all the ticketing plugins. We are currently in the process of refactoring recurrence so that we will be able to offer a robust solution for folks wanting to offer ticketing for these events, but the long and short of it is that at this time, it is unavailable and unsupported.
Now, since you only want to sell one ticket for the entire series, it may be that you could accommodate that by making the first day a separate, non-recurring event. That would work as a stop-gap until recurrence is supported by the ticketing plugins.
Sorry I don’t have better news for you. Please rest assured that this is a high priority for us and it will make it into the product as soon as we have it ready for prime time!

ParticipantHi, msipes. Unfortunately, Twenty Fourteen occasionally has some weird behaviors with TEC that we haven’t ironed out fully yet. Also, I notice I was remiss in not asking if you have also deactivated all other plugins while you were testing.
Would you mind testing again in vanilla Twenty Twelve with all plugins except TEC and PRO deactivated? 🙂
Thanks so much!

ParticipantHi, kezamedia. We’re always happy to help.
Have you tried using a default theme like Twenty Twelve? I just went to your site and switched briefly to that theme and I was able to scroll through your calendar and see the events. I also notice that when I navigate directly to March in your theme of choice, the events show up: http://kezademo.com/bsc/all-seminars/2014-03/
As that’s the case, this is clearly an instance of a theme conflict. I see that you are using a custom theme. Have you considered contacting you theme developer to see if they have any insight on what might be happening?

ParticipantHi, jmbalsa. Excellent question!
While it is, certainly, possible to make this happen, it would not be a simple solution. Unfortunately, we’re not in a position to help with that kind of customization on the support forum. If you’d like to see it as a feature in an upcoming release, please do suggest it in our User Voice forum.
If you decide to take this on personally, we’re happy to help keep you pointed in the right direction. It definitely sounds like a cool idea!

ParticipantGreat question, e4healthwi! 🙂
It turns out the really simple way to do this is to use the Community Events add-on to The Events Calendar: https://theeventscalendar.com/shop/wordpress-community-events/ It comes with everything you need to allow you to allow and control user event submissions.
Please check it out and let me know if you think that’d be a good solution for you!

ParticipantHi, maze! This is a great question! 🙂
Sorry if setting this up isn’t very intuitive. Basically, you set up the recurrence as weekly and check the days of the week you want it to occur on. Here’s a screenshot: http://d.pr/i/6RmT
I also want to remind you that recurrence is currently unsupported by our ticketing plugins, so if you are attempting to set up ticketing for a recurring event, you’re bound to run into problems there.
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi, Nanda! Great questions! 🙂 Thanks very much for doing your homework and sifting through the forums to find out more.
It turns out that in our next release, which is due any time now, we have implemented a significant revision to the datepicker. Would you mind waiting until that comes out and then testing with the new version? Depending on whether that changes the behavior, we should have a better idea of where to take things from there. 🙂
