ParticipantHi, vinvalentino. I see that you’re using the current version of WooCommerce Tickets. Given that that’s the case, I’d recommend you avoid using older snippets as they are unlikely to work correctly. It’s probably a good idea to remove it.
You are correct that tickets have their catalog visibility set to hidden by default. That can be changed by editing the ticket in the WooCommerce Product Editor.
I took a look at your site, but I don’t see the tickets showing up in your shop. Would you mind linking to a screenshot so that I can help you troubleshoot?

ParticipantHi, Richard. I think I understand what you’re getting at.
This sounds like something that would be implemented in the WooCommerce side of things, rather than in our code, which basically allows easy integration with the WooCommerce functionality. Have you had a chance to get in touch with their support?
We did have someone last month who was talking about doing something similar: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/wootickets-with-member-and-public-pricing-for-one-event/ You might check that out for ideas, too.
Hope that all makes sense. Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, mellowvision. I’m going to follow up to your post in the topic you created.
Thanks everyone for being patient while we work on implementing this big improvement to our code!

ParticipantHi, mellowvision. I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with this.
I saw your post over in the thread about recurring events. If lack of true recurring event functionality is a show-stopper for you, we would be happy to offer you a refund. On the other hand, if you can wait for us to implement it in an upcoming release, please rest assured that it’s a huge priority for us, and we’re definitely working actively to make it happen.
If you’d like to go ahead and continue using TEC, I can work with you on getting to the bottom of this. Our top priority is making sure we’re taking care of you as a TEC user.

ParticipantHello, again. We’ve had a chance to do some testing on this, and here’s what we’ve found.
It looks like According to the Eventbrite docs, the country isn’t listed as required, but we are getting an error directly from their API when it’s left out. We’ve contacted them directly to see if they can clarify.
In the meantime, if you set the country to the United States, then the state will be required. (That’s the only country that requires the state when it’s selected.) The only workaround we can suggest for now is to choose another country besides the US. Otherwise, you will need to choose a state as well.
I know it’s not ideal, but as far as we can tell, there’s no workaround for Eventbrite requiring the country. I will update the thread again when we hear back.

ParticipantThanks for the tip, philzo! We’ll definitely make a note of it.

ParticipantHi, shimatorabi. Thanks for getting in touch with us about making this configuration change on your site. We’re happy to help you work through it.
By defaults, we hide all the tickets from the WooCommmerce shop. For them to display, you’ll need to change the catalog visibility setting so they aren’t hidden, otherwise your tickets category will show as empty.
Then, you can configure a category page for them within WooCommmerce.
Let me know how that works for you. If anything’s confusing, it would be great if you could link to screenshots of what’s not working the way you’d like.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, calzbert. I’m afraid that we can’t find an email from you with the screenshot. Would you mind uploading it via droplr or a similar service? Otherwise, you can send an email to pro /a/ tri.be with the thread’s title so that we can easily identify it.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, calzbert. Sorry that you’ve run into this issue. We will have a fix in an upcoming release of the plugin.
Until then, please check out this thread for details as to how you can resolve the issue, if you feel comfortable doing it:

ParticipantHi, minemindmedia. Sounds like you’ve pretty much answered your own question on this one.
It would be great if you could check out our User Voice Forum. Because we have had a few requests, I’m guessing you’ll probably find an existing item there for exactly this issue, and you can vote it up. This may well become a feature soon, but it’s not really feasible at this time, given how recurrence exists in the current release.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, mriehl. That’s right. Before applying the latest update, you’ll need to rename the folder. This also helps in case you need to revert to the earlier release, in a pinch.
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense. Hopefully, that should get you upgraded.

ParticipantHi, pbjpromotions. Unfortunately, I can’t actually view your link because it’s still a preview draft
If you are just trying to make sure that nothing displays for the venue/organizer info, you can just leave those fields blank when creating the event. Then, it won’t show on the frontend.
If you are looking to include that info on the events, but not allow frontend access to that info, you’d need to create a custom single event template that doesn’t show that information.
Let us know if that’s the info you’re looking for. If not, please include a screenshot so that we can have a better idea of what you’re looking for.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, innovativefaith. I apologize for the bug that you’re seeing. It’s one that we’re working on, and we hope to be able to roll it out in an official release soon.
Until then, you can try using this snippet to fix it on your site: http://pastebin.com/QpKvKYAc
Hope that gets you back in business until it’s resolved in an official release!

ParticipantHi, Pierre-Benoît. It certainly sounds daunting when you think about 2100 events!
If I’m understanding you correctly, I think that the solution may be for you to simply go to the initial event in each sequence and update them all from that one. To help you find it, you can use the EDIT EVENT link, either in the page or in the admin toolbar, and that should bring you right into them from the frontend.
N.B. Be sure to click “All Events” after updating the event, that way it’s propagated forward. (If you’re bothered by the grey shading that overlays the dialog, you can use this temporary fix until we resolve it in an upcoming patch release: https://theeventscalendar.com/recurring-events-dialog-fix/)
Let me know if that will work for you. If not, we’ll try to find another solution.

ParticipantHi, Daniel. It sounds like this may be a result of a stale cache somewhere.
Does the zombie event continue to show up after you flush your permalinks and clear your cache? It’s also possible that it’s the result of a plugin that’s installed. Do you have WP Super Cache or similar in place?
How are you displaying your events on the front page? Could it be that that has something to do with it?
If you have a screenshot of what you’re seeing, that might prove helpful.
Thanks!
