    Hi.

After struggling with a reoccuring event, I moved it to trash and permanently deleted it.
I noticed that the event still appeared on the homepage, but the url end
    -…com/event_description-2

The point being that there was a “-2” at the end of the url. ie, a duplicate.

Upon clicking the link, HTTP404 error page appears.

I went into the events list and no such event exists. However, It suggests there are 2 Draft Events.

Upon clicking into drafts, nothing is listed.

How can I remove this ghost event from my homepage and remove this two ghost drafts? I’ve deactivated all plugins and restored original theme.

    Thanks guys.

Hi, Daniel. It sounds like this may be a result of a stale cache somewhere.

Does the zombie event continue to show up after you flush your permalinks and clear your cache? It’s also possible that it’s the result of a plugin that’sĀ installed. Do you have WP Super Cache or similar in place?

How are you displaying your events on the front page? Could it be that that has something to do with it?

If you have a screenshot of what you’re seeing, that might prove helpful.

    Thanks!
