Recurring Events: Recur Forever? (daily forever?)

Is this possible or does it create way too many database entries?
Would love to have an event recur forever so I don’t have to go back in and extend the length every 200 days. This would be for selling tickets for tours that happen on an hourly basis, daily.

Since I just purchased the Pro version I haven’t had much time to look into it before posting but now realize creating a recurring event daily for years would not work as it actually creates a new entry each time.

What I would love to do is be able to setup for example, 20 tours. These tours would be offered daily. Fields would include tickets for adults (at a cost) and tickets for children (for free) plus the time of day they would like to take the tour.

From what I can gather, the only way for me to do this would be to setup each event for each tour time during each day and set as recurring for 200 days.

Any idea how this can be done better?
This would be an amazing addition to this already great plugin system.

Hi, minemindmedia. Sounds like you’ve pretty much answered your own question on this one.

It would be great if you could check out our User Voice Forum. Because we have had a few requests, I’m guessing you’ll probably find an existing item there for exactly this issue, and you can vote it up. This may well become a feature soon, but it’s not really feasible at this time, given how recurrence exists in the current release.
