ParticipantHi, desertreview. I definitely see what you’re talking about.
From what I can tell, it looks like the issue is that something in your site is swapping out the current (supported) version of jQuery to a much older version, and that’s breaking things.
The best way to troubleshoot something like this is to start at the bottom with the site as close to default as possible and work your way up adding things one at a time until you figure out which theme or plugin is the source of the problem. From there we can see what we can do to help you find a work-around.
Does that make sense?

ParticipantHi, milcms. This is a great idea and totally possible with a little customization.
Please check out our Themer’s Guide (linked to the right) for where to go about editing the map settings. Let us know if you get stuck anywhere and we can help you out.
Thanks for being a TEC user!

ParticipantHi, Canton. I’m sorry that you’ve run into this issue. This is a known bug that should be squashed soon.
Until then, please try out this snippet: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/5959855
It should do the trick for you.Let us know how it goes. If that doesn’t work, we’re happy to troubleshoot with you further.

ParticipantHi, seattleunity. Thanks for reaching out about this.
Unfortunately, we only support having the calendar at the top level of your site, i.e. http://seattleunity.org/events/ or http://seattleunity.org/calendar/. We have had requests for this behavior in the past, though, and would be open to exploring it in the future.
If you wouldn’t mind, we’d appreciate it if you would post it as a suggested feature on our User Voice page: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas. We prioritize implementation of new features based on the response they receive there.
Thanks for being a TEC User!

ParticipantHi, kardiadesignstudio. My first thought would be to have you check your time zone setting.
I couldn’t find TEC on your site to see the behavior myself. Would you mind posting a link so that I could check it out?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, lloydsilver. Thanks for letting us know about this issue. Let’s see what we can do to get it working properly.
We haven’t had reports of this in the past, so I’d like to ask you a few questions:
1. What is the selected event template in The Events Calendar Settings? (e.g. default page template, default event template, etc.)
2. What is the selected default view in The Events Calendar Settings? (photo, list, etc.)
3. Does changing either of the two above variables have an effect?
4. Did you have to add any code to your theme templates in order to add the slider or anything like that? Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, stevenmilstein. Unfortunately, your code gets omitted until you tag it with “<code&rt;” and “</code&rt;”, so I can’t see what you were trying to show me.
Between the Themer’s Guide (linked in the right sidebar) and the Child Theme docs, you should have all the info you need. If you’d like to you could link to your snippet or repost with the code tags, we could try to help you more. It also might be a good idea to ask your theme developer for guidance.
For now, I’m going to close this thread. Please create a new topic if you need further assistance. Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Joel. Thanks for getting in touch.
There’s a brand new tutorial on adding a sorting option for tickets. Please check it out: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/changing-the-order-of-tickets/
Let me know how it goes!

ParticipantHi, Bodin. No problem at all.
The Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar, covers theme customization. Here’s the salient instructions:
To load custom styles for core views and elements, create a stylesheet called tribe-events.css in the tribe-events/ directory of your theme.
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.
Kelly
ParticipantHi, cforge. I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with WooCommerce Tickets.
Please start a new topic in the WooCommerce Tickets forum and we’ll do our best to get things sorted out for you. Thanks!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, Rebekah. I hear what you’re saying, but I think that may be coincidental.
For instance, when I click on the link above (http://www.my-broadsheet.com/events/), here’s what I see in Chrome: http://d.pr/i/Ep63.
Then, I tried just going to http://www.my-broadsheet.com/, and I got the same thing. I’m guessing if you used relative paths for your links, this would all go away. The problem seems to be the mixing of the URLs in the absolute paths and the redirect.
Would it be possible for you to try this fix to see what happens?
Kelly
ParticipantAbsolutely! Thanks so much for being a loyal TEC user!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, orgspring. It looks like this is something that should be fixed by our next release. If you’ll sit tight for now, I’ll be back in touch to ask you to test once it’s released.
Thanks, again!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, zobel. Thanks for all the info about what you’ve done so far.
Please check out our roles FAQ (https://theeventscalendar.com/faqs/what-plugin-capabilities-are-there-for-creating-custom-roles/). That should give you what you need to give them the permissions you want.
Let us know how it goes!
Kelly
ParticipantHi, goupiso. Thanks for reaching out about this.
You’ll find documentation about customization in the Themer’s Guide linked in the right-hand sidebar. It’s useful to note that the email.php and attendees-email.php are part of the core (The Events Calendar) plugin, not WooCommerce Tickets.
Please let us know if you have any specific questions as you work on your customizations. We’re happy to help!
