ParticipantHi,
When clicking an Event to get all the details, the Event description information is exactly close to the edge of the “frame”. This does not look good at all. It would be great if there were some margins between the edge and where the text starts. It is also reflected for the Event title.
My configuration is:
Default stylesheet used for events templates = Tribe Events Styles
Events template = Default Events TemplateTo see an example, go to:
http://www.bomscandinavia.com/events/event/bom-goteborg-6What is the solution?
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
AndreasSeptember 5, 2013 at 2:39 pm #64778Kelly
ParticipantHi, Andreas. Thanks for reaching out about your formatting issue.
I have a couple of questions for you. First, which theme are you using (and who is its developer)? Second, what behavior do you see when you switch the page template/stylesheet settings?

ParticipantHi Kelly!
Thank you for taking time to help me out.
The theme name is StartupPro and is created by StartupWP.
I’ve changed the Default stylesheet setting and that changes nothing. The Skeleton Styles really strips the formatting. 🙂Changing the Events template to “Default Page Template” brings back the right side bar and squeezes the month overview. But when I click on an Event, it seems that there are pixels added from the edge that makes the text move away from the edge.
Does this help you figuring out what needs to be done?
Sincerely,
AndreasSeptember 6, 2013 at 7:26 am #64877Kelly
ParticipantHi, Andreas. I appreciate your thorough response.
It’s possible you’re seeing this because you’re using the default events template when StartupPro doesn’t define any styles for that, but a bit of CSS like this might do the trick:
#tribe-events { padding: 10px 20px }Please try that and let us know how it goes.

ParticipantHi Kelly,
thank you for taking the time to respond.
Forgive my incompetence here, but in which file should I add your proposed stylesheet code?September 6, 2013 at 1:51 pm #64946Kelly
ParticipantHi, Bodin. No problem at all.
The Themer’s Guide, linked in the right sidebar, covers theme customization. Here’s the salient instructions:
To load custom styles for core views and elements, create a stylesheet called tribe-events.css in the tribe-events/ directory of your theme.
Let me know if that doesn’t make sense.
