Can you confirm which theme you are using, and if possible post a download link (you could do this as a private message if it is a premium theme, and use a service such as droplr.com or even just upload it to your site via the media library).

We’re definitely interested in helping – but we do need to narrow down the problem first of all – hence the troubleshooting steps. So thanks for running through those: we can now look into this in more depth.

I’m not sure how that custom CSS for your theme was set up and don’t indeed know what theme you are using, but I would be surprised if it literally disappeared – perhaps a setting was dropped and you can reactivate it somehow?

It’s definitely always worth backing up in case of issues like this and of course closely following the instructions for any other themes and plugins that you are using.

OK, were you able to determine if it also occured with WooCommerce activated, but your theme deactivated – in other words, with The Events Calendar, WooTickets, WooCommerce and Twenty Twelve running (but nothing else)?

Sorry to hear you hit a problem with your custom CSS. Are you referring to something you set up through your theme settings or do you mean any custom events CSS that you may have set up?

Hi Lyne, can you confirm which version of The Events Calendar (and if applicable Events Calendar PRO) you are using? You can see the version numbers in the plugins admin screen.

The meta box (in the event editor) used to assign featured images will only show up if your theme supports featured images … can you confirm if your theme does so – and if it does not perhaps get in touch with the vendor about adding that capability? It can often be done by adding a short piece of code to your theme’s functions.php file.

That’s possible, but on the other hand they may provide some clue about how their plugin works and what information it is looking for here – in which case feel free to post here again and we can see if that gives us anything we can work with.

You may have a plugin (or there may be code in your theme) that filters posts titles in some ‘unconventional’ manner – and that may not mesh well with our plugin.

IF your site is too busy can you do this from within (and setup if necessary, perhaps in a subdirectory) a testing installation?

Can you try upgrading to Events Calendar PRO 3.0.1 in case that solves this?

You’re right – that’s clearly a bug and we’ll try to clear that up as quickly as possible.

Since you can still access the settings (Events Calendar PRO shares the same settings system as The Events Calendar itself) you should be good so long as you don’t use that particular link.

    Thanks for reporting!

    Hi Sandie,

Definitely feel free to watch and monitor this thread – but please create a new thread of your own if you need help that is specific to your situation, otherwise this thread will quickly become a confusing place (if for instance we are guiding each of you through different stages of the troubleshooting process) 🙂

Please also let us know if, as with kinichb, this is not a problem with Twenty Twelve.

    Thanks!

OK, I can only assume it’s because of a conflict somewhere along the line. Can you:

    * Deactivate all plugins except for those by Modern Tribe
    * Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
    * Test to see if the problem is still present/has been resolved
    * If so, reactivate everything one step at a time until (if) the problem comes back
    * At the point where the problem returns, make a note of the last component you activated

The ticket name should display in the cart by default – and the descriptive text is simply the post excerpt text for the product. Does that help?

I’m not sure either, really, but I’m afraid I don’t think that is something we are going to be able to help with. Perhaps you could reach out to the developers of Name Your Price?

    Hi flaviarusso –

That doesn’t sound good. On a default installation however I cannot replicate this. If you’ve already run through our basic troubleshooting steps (deactivating all non-Modern Tribe plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve) without any useful result then it could be that your plugins are out-of-synch.

Can you confirm what versions of WooTickets, The Events Calendar and (if applicable) Events Calendar PRO you are using? Essentially, if you are using WooTickets 2.x then you need to use The Events Calendar 3.x.

Indeed, very strange. I’m not sure this is specific to WooTickets though as it also happens on your main events page:

    http://cinemapurgatorio.com/events/

Is it possible that you upgraded WooTickets without also upgrading The Events Calendar (and indeed any other Modern Tribe event plugins you have installed) so that they are all up-to-date and in synch?
