I am having a very strange issue with my current theme.
Any time I to go to the calendar page or any variation all I see is a exact copy of my home page.
I have swithced to 2011 theme and confirmed that the calendar shows up and works correctly. I was hoping someone here could help me troubleshoot this. I use this plugin in conjunction with woocommerce and wootickets to sell classes.
Any idea why this is happening?
Using Foxy theme from Elegant Themes. I have posted a ticket on their support forums as well.
my url is http://cornerstoneglass.com/classes
July 2, 2013 at 2:18 pm #52706kinichbParticipantI have tried resetting my permalinks to default as well. When I do this I get the homepage but it is all messed up. My custom menus are gone and replaced with every single page.
This is the url for the events: http://cornerstoneglass.com/classes/?post_type=tribe_eventsJuly 3, 2013 at 6:08 am #52888BarryMemberOur plugin will not function as expected when default permalinks are in use – so that’s a good idea but isn’t going to help or at least will cause a different set of issues to surface.
I appreciate you taking the time to narrow this down to your theme, but, can I just check that you also tried deactivating all other (non-Modern Tribe) plugins with your current theme activated, just in case the conflict goes one level deeper and is actually because of something else?

No matter what combination of settings I use, the events page is displaying the image from the homepage, then the events underneath that. So whilst it’s not the whole homepage, at first glance it certainly looks like it.
Deactivating all other plugins, including WooTickets, doesn’t resolve this. How do we resolve this please?
July 3, 2013 at 7:17 am #52915BarryMemberHi Sandie,
Definitely feel free to watch and monitor this thread – but please create a new thread of your own if you need help that is specific to your situation, otherwise this thread will quickly become a confusing place (if for instance we are guiding each of you through different stages of the troubleshooting process) 🙂
Please also let us know if, as with kinichb, this is not a problem with Twenty Twelve.
Thanks!

I found out that it is just the main event calendar/list that doesn’t work, but event categories work. So I made a “Mother” category that every single event has to go under, then subcategories under that. I now simply link to that on my nav menu. I never link to the main event calendar.
I looked around a lot of forums and it seems that this issue is quite widespread.
July 3, 2013 at 2:51 pm #53069BarryMemberWe would definitely love to help if we can, as you’re right – it does seem that this or something similar is affecting numerous users. Are you in a position to follow up on my previous request?
can I just check that you also tried deactivating all other (non-Modern Tribe) plugins with your current theme activated, just in case the conflict goes one level deeper and is actually because of something else?
Thanks!
