MemberHi Dominik – I seem unable to download the file or access your site at all. I checked with http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com to be sure it wasn’t a local problem and it also returned a negative result.

MemberOK, strange. Is this specific to your child theme? If you revert to a plain copy of Twenty Twelve does it persist?
What if you deactivate all non-Modern Tribe plugins – does that resolve anything?
Barry
MemberOK. Since I’m not seeing the same thing the only additional piece of troubleshooting I could really do is by logging in to your site and taking a look for myself.
I’m happy to do that, but I’d have to stress that:
* I may deactivate and reactivate various themes and plugins
* You would be responsible for backing up before this and restoring that backup and any settings after the fact
* Though I would work as quickly as possible this will inevitably cause some disruptionOf course, if you are able to create a testing/development installation and can replicate this there I could take a look and some of the above concerns would be mitigated.
If you’re happy with this idea, please provide login details via a private reply. Thanks!

MemberHi squeeza,
Unless I’m mistaken it looks like you might have solved this already – can you confirm if you’re good to go on this one?
Cheers,
Barry
Barry
MemberThanks for helping out here Cynthia 🙂
@Sherwin: does that get you close to a solution?

MemberHi Caroline,
Great questions.
Facebook Events has an auto-import facility. So one possibility is setting up your event on Facebook, allowing our plugins a chance to pull them in – it’s handled as a scheduled task (in a sense, a “background” task that runs daily, I believe) – then push them up to Eventbrite after having added pricing information etc.
Further integration with Twitter and other platforms is something I’d need to leave to you. Depending on your budget and the time you have available you might be able to research and use an existing plugin – or have a custom one made – that automates this process to some extent, but I’m afraid I can’t really offer to much else on that front. There are also numerous other tools out there which, though they don’t directly integrate with WordPress, can apparently be time savers when it comes to working with social media – by allowing you to write a post once and send it out to multiple platforms.
I’d love to hear what wordpress theme you’d recommend for novice users, that showcases your plugins well.
First and foremost we build our plugins to work well with Twenty Twelve. What many people do – including ourselves (take a look at our demo site) – is simply tweak this to a more custom format.
It’s already got a lot of great features including mobile-friendly design facets, so it can make a fantastic starting point for your own work.

MemberHi punctilio,
I believe this is an oversight in our code and the datepicker simply doesn’t respect that particular (start of the week) setting.
I will certainly report this as a bug and update you here as to progress, however I cannot guarantee at this point quite how quickly it might be fixed – of course if we can get you a temporary workaround then we will do so (if possible).

MemberHi giogulez,
Can you confirm which template you are using (you can check this by visting Events → Settings → Display) – I would just like to confirm if it is currently the Default Page Template, Default Events Template or something else.
@puttenhamschool: definitely do feel free to monitor this thread but it may be a quite different problem in your case – in which case it would be best to create a new thread of your own (simply to avoid confusion). Thanks!July 24, 2013 at 3:25 pm in reply to: ‘View as’ drop down covers regular navigation drop down menus #56970Barry
MemberHi! Can you share your URL (as a private reply if you prefer)?
Barry
MemberExcellent 🙂
Barry
MemberOK, it’s not something I can replicate. Are you comfortable working with your browser’s developer tools and the JS console in particular? If so do you see any errors in there?

MemberOK, well I’ll certainly forward your response to the dev team: my own assumption was that even when a specific category is not being viewed it remains a (date-based) archive of (custom) posts, but I can see it may be more nuanced and one might hit difficulties based on what you have said here.
Sorry if I was a bit harsh with my previous post(s)
No worries, we’re receptive to criticism and it will drive the quality of the plugin higher as we progress. Thanks for your continued patience and support 🙂

MemberHi Grégory,
No, you’re doing it wrong. (what about taxonomy archive?)
Thanks for the feedback – which I’d be happy to pass along to the developers. Can you be a little clearer though about why this is a problem for you and why you feel it is incorrect?
Barry
MemberYes, you can definitely remove this section: there are a number of threads about this issue like this one – can you try the solution suggested in the second post in that thread?
Barry
MemberOK, well just to clarify since it seems there might have been a little confusion:
With a default and unmodified theme like Twenty Twelve running and no other plugins except The Events Calendar, WooCommerce Tickets (“WooTickets”) and WooCommerce itself running, you still see this problem?
Could you also confirm which web browser and version you are using?
