    Hi agape,

I see what you mean (with list view “sticking”) and that is – unfortunately – a bug that recently surfaced and will be fixed in a forthcoming maintenance release.

In the interim, if you’re happy editing wp-config.php can you add the following definition:

    define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);

Then please flush your browser’s cache and take another look – does that resolve this? (Assuming it does, then once the next maintenance release arrives you should be able to remove or comment out that line.)

    Hi Saul.

First of all – cool website, we love what you’ve done there and it would be awesome if you could drop us a line once that goes live.

It definitely looks like you’ve done a lot of customization and consequently month view is nothing like I’d normally expect. Are you able to share details of what you have put in place customization-wise, even if as a high level overview?

Yes, we recently made it possible to download historical versions (from 2.0 onwards) from our Downloads page. For the core plugin itself you can grab previous versions by changing the download URL slightly. This works for 2.0.11, for example:

The URL is passed through WordPress’s trailingslashit() function which ensures a trailing slash is present – as that is normally desirable in a WordPress environment.

It’s probably possible to workaround this, but it would be great if you could point me to a live example. I’d also like to be clear on whether in your case all event URLs (from month view) should have the trailing slash removed or just those linking to an external ticketing service (and if so do you have some means of differentiating between those and ‘regular’ URLs)?

I’m at a slight disadvantage since that widget appears not to be available on wpshindig.com right now, but bear with me while I see if I can get it reinstated (then I’ll have a better idea about what you mean).

Generally speaking though I think the intent is to demo what’s possible rather than just showing the plugins in a strictly out-of-the-box fashion within a default theme. That said, I don’t believe any of the customizations there are particularly advanced and this is probably just a matter of a small CSS tweak.

    Hi Parvaiz,

I’m not absolutely clear on what you are trying to do here – but it is rather sounding like the domain of customization work. If you want to create a feature request, please do post on our UserVoice with some examples of what you’d like to see:

Well it all worked out in the end which is the main thing 🙂

Since it’s sounding like we’re all good here I will go ahead and close this thread – if there’s anything else though please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed.

OK, I think the widget you are referring to may have been temporarily removed from wpshindig.com – however do bear in mind that although the theme is a customized version of Twenty Twelve it has been customized so there are some tweaks there that won’t be present in an out-of-the-box installation.

Here’s a basic example of a list widget without any customizations:

    Unstyled events widget

From what I can see it is basically the same deal on your website.

Oh, this one? OK! We’ve got so many threads in progress it’s getting hard to keep track. No problem, I’ll move on to that one next.

For the first issue – which (quoting from the other thread) is:

I have a reoccurring event starting on October 19th if I click publish or update the start date changes to December 29th only on the admin side. On the front end there is no issue.

I’m going to have to seek some help from another team member as I’m afraid I have no idea what could be causing this.

AND the date does not show on the left hand side of the event name, like it shows on your demo.

Since this is a separate problem can I ask you to create a new thread to avoid confusion? If you could also be a little more specific – perhaps even link to a screenshot – about what you are seeing and referring to from the demo site that would be great (as I’m not absolutely sure what you mean by the date showing on the left hand side of the event name).

    Hi Katie,

Just as snorton said (thanks Snorton!) you should be able to disconnect it – please also remove it from that installation – and then simply re-enter it on your new site.

Let us know if that doesn’t work for you.

If you can share a URL for your dev site we can definitely take a peak.
