Unable to reassign to new URL

    Hi – when I registered my license, I used my development URL. When I tried to reassign the URL by clicking on ‘Disconnect Now’, no option appeared to reassign that license to a new URL. What do I need to do?

    I believe you should just add the license to your new URL and remove it from your dev URL. It should then appear in the section you’ve highlighted in your screenshot.

    Hi Katie,

    Just as snorton said (thanks Snorton!) you should be able to disconnect it – please also remove it from that installation – and then simply re-enter it on your new site.

    Let us know if that doesn’t work for you.

    Thanks! After I unassigned it, I didn’t understand that I was supposed to re-assign it actually at the URL – but it appears that it re-assigned itself, after I unassigned it…? Anyway, thanks!

    Well it all worked out in the end which is the main thing 🙂

    Since it’s sounding like we’re all good here I will go ahead and close this thread – if there’s anything else though please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed.
