MemberHi James: we can certainly provide you with a starting point – good luck!
Barry
MemberCan you provide a link to the relevant page? I can’t seem to locate the events view using the URL you provided.
Barry
MemberHi Katarina, I believe that’s a bug and I’ll certainly make a note so we can try to address it for a future release.
Thanks for reporting!

MemberNot quite, but we do have an FAQ listing the unique to The Events Calendar user capabilities. To get a clear breakdown of which user roles are assigned which capabilities it’s easiest to go straight to the source and take a peak at TribeEvents::addCapabilities() (found in lib/the-events-calendar.class.php).
Barry
MemberHave you tried switching to a different template for events (via the Events → Settings → Display admin screen)?
Barry
MemberHi freshmint,
It should only affect calendar view (and then only when there are multiple events per day) – can you link me to an example of the problem on your site?
Thanks!

MemberHi Kathleen, I’m afraid this is a known bug and we’re working hard to get it fixed in an upcoming maintenance release.
Barry
MemberIt probably is indeed due to the fact that URLs for ajax requests will not follow that same pattern.
Would it be possible for you to build your test using a combination of functions like tribe_is_map(), tribe_is_event_category() and has_term() instead of a string comparison?
Barry
MemberHi Karlyn,
Since you’ve worked around this I can’t see the problem on your own site – so just to ensure I’m understanding you correctly do you mean you are viewing a category like in this example and are clicking on Next Events » – but see exactly the same view when you do so?

MemberHi jadecreative – licenses are valid for one calendar year from purchase as described on the product page (“Get updates & support for a year…”).
Do note however that while having a valid key provides access to support and updates your calendar certainly won’t cease to function if you decide not to renew.
Does that clarify things?

MemberHi Andreas,
Nothing that’s built in to the plugin – you’d need to build something like this yourself unless perhaps you can leverage a third party plugin to assist.
Thanks for contacting us!

MemberDefinitely – and I’m sorry that it integration has been so problematic in this case.
The fact that it’s working perfectly (bar the bug with the recurring event dialog being greyed out, of course) on your dev server does suggest something peculiar is in place on your live site – hopefully you can zero in on that and determine if it’s due to perhaps a setting in the database or indeed some discrepancy between plugins.

MemberHi Doug: a good starting point would be our Themer’s Guide – you might be interested in overriding widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php for this one and the tribe_show_month() arguments (closely bound to WP_Query in terms of what it accepts) in particular.
There are few different possible angles of attack for this though and we’ll leave it to you to determine the best path in your case.
Hope that helps – I’ll go ahead and close this thread now 🙂
Barry
MemberExcellent, thanks for sharing Andy!

MemberHi barnesmusicfestival – I’m sorry to hear that, but wish you luck with your project going forward, whichever solution you might use 🙂
