ParticipantI’ve noticed that clicking “Sticky in Calendar View” makes those posts appear above everything else in list view with their month as the header. This can be confusing because the list doesnt start on the current month if you have a sticky post. On the other hand it is nice for featuring certain upcoming events.
Is there a way to edit the output of the sticky posts header to read “Featured Events” or something other than the event month? That way list view would show the sticky events under “Featured Events” header then start the non-featured calendar list below?

MemberHi freshmint,
It should only affect calendar view (and then only when there are multiple events per day) – can you link me to an example of the problem on your site?
Thanks!

ParticipantHere is the event list page
http://smokeyridgecharcuterie.com/events/You can see that the list starts on October 2013 and lists the two events I’ve chosen as sticky, then starts back at September and lists everything else. If I remove the sticky option, the two Farm Dinner events list in order with everything else.
Like I said, although it may be a bug, its a nice feature for separating events we would like to feature from the rest of the list. i would just like to change the header to read Featured Events rather than the monthSeptember 17, 2013 at 2:17 pm #66454Barry
MemberIt’s not something we can reproduce; if you disable all other plugins and revert to a default, unmodified theme do you experience the same thing?

ParticipantLooks like the culprit is Post Types Order plugin. Oh well, like I said the behavior actually works in our favor in this instance

MemberOK, well I’ll bow out here since it’s sounding like you’re basically all good and there is no bug as such with our plugin by itself.
If there’s anything else though definitely do create a new thread and we’ll be happy to help 🙂
