Add avatar to organizer in details box

Hi,
Is it possible to add the WordPress user’s avatar to the single event view in the calendar?
In the “Details” box for an individual event the organizer’s name is displayed, I’d like the organizer’s avatar to be shown alongside if possible.

Just a clue as to which file to edit or a code snippet would be great, thanks!

That’s great thanks – is the code for functions.php or, say single-event.php?

Your theme’s functions.php – or that of your child theme if you’re using one – or else a custom plugin would probably be the most suitable homes for this 🙂
