MemberI’ll go ahead and close this one – if there’s anything else of course do feel to create a new thread or threads as required π
Barry
MemberHi Adam, are you thinking of week view in particular here or some other view?

MemberThat is strange, I effectively see the reverse (the leading pipe appears when it is not the default events template which is being used). It could of course be a different cause in both circumstances – ultimately though it’s great you have a solution in place here π
Barry
MemberCan you give an example of how you are interacting with the custom field?
Recurring events all share the same post ID so if you set up post meta data it will (/should) be common to all of them. Are you talking here of an “additional field” in the Events Calendar PRO meaning of the term or WordPress post meta fields?
Barry
MemberOkey dokey, bear with me while I discuss this one with the team and see if we can come up with anything that might help π
Barry
MemberHi! We’ll need to leave it up to you to figure this one out, especially as your requirements are so bespoke π
Thanks and good luck!

MemberHi Vanmassa,
It could be a number of factors. I do note that you tried disabling all other plugins and reverting to a default, unmodified theme. Did this resolve the problem and if so were you able to identify a conflict with any other component, such as your theme or another plugin?
Thanks!

MemberHi Gould – that’s unfortunate: can I ask if you encounter the same problem with our latest release? 2.0.11 is not something we can offer a great deal of support for at this point in time.
Barry
MemberLooks broadly correct. When you opened this thread you shared a URL … does this problem relate to that same site? If so your theme directory seems to be different in that particular scenario.
Barry
MemberHi noxaen,
A lot of work has taken place since 2.0.11 and I’d be reluctant to spend too much time on this one in case it has indeed been rectified (or is no longer a problem) with our latest releases.
Can you upgrade from 2.0.11 or else test out the latest versions in a development/testing environment?
Thanks!

MemberAnd if you deactivate all other plugins (except for those by Modern Tribe) and switch to a default, unmodified theme, does this also occur?
I donβt know how to monitor my server error log.
Can you ask for help from your web hosting provider in that case? They should be able to assist.

MemberHi James,
Have you checked out our tutorials sections? We’ve got one that explains a method of hiding events from users who are not logged in that could be of interest here.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberSounds like you found the culprit – thanks for letting us know – I hope everything else goes smoothly for you π
Barry
MemberHappy to help!
I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but of course if there is anything else we can help with please do go ahead and create new threads as required π
Barry
MemberOK – and you also deactivated all other plugins?
