MemberLooks broadly correct. When you opened this thread you shared a URL … does this problem relate to that same site? If so your theme directory seems to be different in that particular scenario.

ParticipantNo the url doesn’t relate to the same site. Thats a url I copied from another thread that you put up. It’s the code to remove the grid from the calendar widget.

MemberTo be clear, I’m not referring to the Pastebin URL but the site URL you provided when you opened the thread.

MemberOK, so what are you actually experiencing – no change at all or is some other problem occurring? Without being able to see the problem it can as I’m sure you appreciate be hard to troubleshoot.

ParticipantSorry about that. We are experiencing no change at all. I use filezilla as the FTP client. This is where I created the folder (themes/BRAD/tribe-events/widgets/mini-calendar-widget.php). Inside WordPress under the themes tab the theme is visible so it has uploaded. It is displaying however as a broken theme at the bottom of the themes page in WordPress. I’m not sure how relevant this is but just want to give you all the info I can.

MemberDefinitely something I’d look at in the first instance (its status as a broken theme) … have you approached the theme author about that? Ideally we’d want the theme to be functional before building further custom templates within it 🙂

ParticipantMate got it sorted thanks! I thought I had to create my own theme not create the folder within the theme I was using hence the reason for the broken theme. Told you I was a novice at this. Thanks for your help and sorry if I have wasted your time.
