MemberHi blizzdesign,
Would a snippet like this one (which you could drop into your theme’s functions.php file) work for you? You could of course adapt the value to suit – I set it to 1000 just to illustrate how it works.
Do bear in mind the potential impact this may not only when those recurring events are created but when they are queried by visitors to the site.

MemberIt’s not included, I’m afraid, but you’re more than welcome to post this as a feature request. It’s also possible there are existing plugins out there which can generate PDFs on-the-fly.
Hope that helps – and I’ll go ahead and close this thread.

MemberHello mjramirez11,
You can safely ignore that message, which only exists to offer a convenient means to let people buy new plugins/add-ons to add any extra functionality they might need.
If you have installed and activated Events Calendar PRO and WooCommerce Tickets (and of course The Events Calendar core plugin and WooCommerce) then the new features and functionality they bring should already be available to you ๐
I hope that answers your question – but if you have any further questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to let me know.
Thanks!

MemberHi paulpetch,
Thanks for the kind words ๐
What code do i add to add specific calendars / categories to a template?
You can pull specific views in with tribe_get_view(), however it’s not quite that simply as most of the time you will also want the support JS and CSS to be available – you’d need to take care of enqueuing that yourself.
An alternative then could be making use of our widgets and embedding them either by creating a new sidebar specific-to-this-role or else make use of the WordPress API to embed them directly.
It definitely sounds like a great project but, I’m afraid, we can’t help much further with customizations like this.
The second thing iโd like to do is change field names so it fits with โworkshopsโ rather then โeventsโ.
Have you checked out our tutorials page? In particular you might be interested in:
* Changing labels for iCal/Google Calendar links in single event view
* Relabeling the Venue/Organizer sections in single event viewThey may not precisely cover the same changes as you want to make (the first in particular is really more to give you a feel for customization work with The Events Calendar) but they definitely ought to give you a taste of how it all works – remember also that we have a comprehensive Themer’s Guide and technical docs, too.
Thanks!

MemberHi everyone, apologies for the inconvenience first of all:
The location search works only when in map view. This is bound to confuse users, and should be corrected.
You’re right and we’re aware of this – we’ve got a fix in the works and, by the looks of things, it has passed QA so it ought to be rolled out shortly ๐
Either the notifications arenโt working or I forgot to check the โNotifyโ box. I wish there was a way to make sure I am subscribed to a topic without actually adding a new comment.
It should generally work, however being able to resubscribe without leaving an extra comment would definitely be a great feature. We do in fact have a number of changes to the forum that we hope will arrive in the not too distant future and we’re hopeful that they will alleviate a number of frustrations.
At this point there’s not much more we can do about the issue initially reported by apkoponen here other than wait out for the next release so I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but thank you all for your patience and support.
Cheers!
Barry
MemberYou could try using get_terms() and format them however you like?
Barry
MemberSo it looks like in the case of Avada the preferred function for pulling in a sidebar is generated_dynamic_sidebar() – what I’d suggest is combining that with the conditional check I outlined above in your default events template.
Putting the pieces together though is something we’ll need to leave to you to figure out, though. Do also remember to check out our Themer’s Guide (link on the right under Userful Resources) and also our technical docs if haven’t already done so ๐
Thanks – and good luck!
Barry
MemberYou should be able to research some number of your previous events if you click here.
I’m guessing it related to some sort of theme compatibility issue – but depending on when it was added (if you can no longer remember and perhaps it was in the days of our 2.x releases or earlier) then it may no longer be pertinent and might be quite safe to remove without replacing it.

MemberOK – so again there is little we can do as, currently, we cannot support offer support for integration issues with WPML.
We’re absolutely open to fixing any areas where we’re not making appropriate use of WordPress’s internationalization/localization features, but the fact that the view titles are, as far as I can see, translated perfectly outwith a WPML context suggests that perhaps this issue may indeed be on the WPML side of things.
I’ll go ahead and close this thread now: if we can help with anything else, or you spot any translation issues that are not bound to WPML in any way, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll be happy to investigate.
Thanks!

MemberGreat to hear – and happy to help! ๐

MemberHi energy0m,
I appreciate it can be frustrating when you have to wait for an answer, but repeatedly posting won’t move you further along the queue ๐ … we aim to update each thread within 24hrs of the last reply by a customer, not counting weekends.
So it looks as if you are currently using the Default Events Template: can you confirm if you have tried switching this to the Default Page Template or some other setting (via the Events โ Settings โ Display admin screen) and does that make any difference here?
Barry
MemberIt is strange – and we’re totally open to the idea of there being a problem on our side, but we’d need a better sense of how to recreate it ๐
