MemberAhh … so your question relates to Community Events?
Barry
MemberHi fostermartin,
Normally you can choose a default view (such as month view) and this will be available at example.com/events – then alternate views can be accessed with their own URLs, such as example.com/events/upcoming (and the main events slug itself can be customized).
Are you having problems with that aspect of this? Or do you mean that you wish to embed these views within existing pages that you have created? If it’s the latter then I’m afraid we can’t help with that – and I’d also note that we have very limited support for Pagelines in particular.
Thanks – I look forward to hearing from you!

MemberHi paulpetch,
I definitely didn’t mean to seem rude with the previous thread – but beyond the resources we make available (like our Themer’s Guide, technical docs, tutorials and snippets) we really can’t help all that much with customization issues.
I think it’s a little unfair however to suggest that it can’t be integrated into a website: it can and is on many websites and it would certainly be a major bug if it did not. However, if you want to integrate it in some new and interesting way – perhaps by exposing it outside of the default event pages – then the responsibility for figuring that out really has to fall on you.
We can definitely provide a list of freelancers who might be able to help, however, if you’re interested in that?

MemberHi Tyler, I can’t see your code (and code often is stripped out by the forum, unfortunately) so it’s best to share code via a service like Pastebin or Gist. That said, we can’t offer too much help with custom development tasks but if you want to post your code we’ll certainly take a quick look and see if any obvious issues jump out 🙂
Thanks!

MemberYou might be interested in the template_include filter here if you want to use a custom template of your own. Beyond that I’m afraid we can’t help with custom development tasks – but we do of course wish you luck 🙂
(I’ll go ahead and close this thread now. Thanks again!)

MemberHi Oliver,
Instead of passing a post_title parameter have you tried using Venue?
http://docs.tri.be/Events-Calendar/function-tribe_create_venue.html
Let me know if that helps!

MemberHi Kevin: this is indeed on our bug tracker and we will hopefully get a fix out there soon 🙂
Thanks for your patience!

MemberHi eitan88,
So to clarify you wish to hide certain hour ranges from week view?
If so that would be a customization you’d need to undertake by yourself. However, we are definitely open to feature requests along these lines – so please do feel free to post on our UserVoice page and one of the team will consider your request 🙂
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi eitan88,
I took a look at the URL you linked to when you opened this thread but could not locate an example of the problem illustrated in your screenshot – can you confirm if this is still a problem and provide a URL where I can observe it?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi ngaire,
Are these long-running events? As in, do they run passed midnight (and if so can you share an example along with details of your event cut-off time setting)?
Can you also confirm if you have any sort of caching solution in place, be that a plugin or something that operates “above” the WordPress layer?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberSounds interesting! I don’t see why not. A short snippet like this could be added to your custom widgets/list-widget.php template, for instance. Please do take a look at our Themer’s Guide first of all if you are unfamiliar with customizing The Events Calendar.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Simon,
Is it possible that you have some filters applied and have you tried clearing them if so?
Thanks!

MemberHi ibexsolutions,
For the first issue can you try adding the following snippet of CSS to the end of your theme’s stylesheet or anywhere else it makes available for custom CSS (or indeed go ahead and create a custom tribe-events.css stylesheet and add it there):
.ie-dropdown-fix { z-index: 500; }For the second issue we have some useful snippets including one that is useful for solving this particular problem – “Stop Tooltip from Obscuring Event Title” – which may be useful.
Hope that helps!
Barry
MemberHi jeataylor, I believe we have addressed this (in our development code) but I’m just checking in with the team to be doubly sure this particular form of the problem was covered.
Bear with me and I’ll update you as soon as I can 🙂
