MemberThere are AJAX issues on the plugin interfering with other JQuery code, thatโs what it looks like.
OK: when you created this thread you marked down that you had tried deactivating all other plugins and reverting to a default, unmodified theme – did that process impact on the problem at all?
Unfortunately I can’t view the issue on your site (possibly the forum software has stripped out characters from the URL you provided).
Barry
Memberhighasp: looking through the issue tracker I suspect some changes in the very next maintenance release (which ought to be with us shortly) may have a positive impact on this problem. Unfortunately I’m unable to give you a precise date for that release, but we are in the final phase of testing so it really should be here soon.
With that in mind, my suggestion at this point is to wait for that and then try upgrading and see if the problem is resolved. Is that workable here?
I do appreciate it means a further delay, but I think it is the best avenue for us in this case.

MemberHi timothygrahl,
You would use WordPress’s standard functions for this, like wp_enqueue_style() and wp_enqueue_script(). If you open your browser’s dev tools you’ll get a sense for which CSS and JS assets are required and can experiment with setting those up on any other page you choose.
You’ll likely be interested in tribe-events-bar.js and tribe-events.js as a minimum, but will need to keep a wary eye out for any other scripts and styles they depend upon.
Hope that helps!

MemberYou’re right – that tutorial needs to be updated to make it gel with the latest releases. Sorry for any inconvenience – we’ll certainly update it as quickly as we can.
Barry
MemberOK, glad you’re sorted for the time being at least. Please do post any requests for new features over on our UserVoice page and we’ll happily assess them:

MemberHi newmusicworld,
Just to be sure it was indeed the same problem that you were facing, can you link me to some live examples of the issue you are facing in the context of your own site?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberExcellent, glad you figured things out ๐
Barry
MemberIt’s possible you’re hitting up against a known bug here that may be resolved in the next maintenance release.
However, if you want to proactively troubleshoot this in the meantime can you confirm if the same problem arises with no other plugins running and only a default, unmodified theme running (such as Twenty Twelve)?
Thanks!

MemberHi hillquest,
Just to clarify how this process works, if you wish to literally change all events in a series you should edit the first instance and then apply the change to all. As an example, let’s say our event recurs on the following dates:
* December 5
* December 10
* December 15
* December 20If you edit the December 20 event and apply to all only that event will be affected. If you edit the December 15 event and apply to all then both it and the December 20 event will be effected (because applying the change to all really means, apply to this and all future instances).
So, to change the whole series means you would need in my example to edit the December 5 instance first of all.
Does that help/clarify things at all?

MemberOK, great. Multisite installations can offer a few challenges and that may be exacerbated where different domain names are involved – but hopefully your server admin can do something.
Keep us posted!

MemberOK. I’m a bit concerned about troubleshooting an out-of-date theme that isn’t readily accessible; would you be able to try updating in case that happens to solve this (on a test site if not initially on the live site)?

MemberI’m not entirely sure what you mean. Can you illustrate with some real examples / explain which pages exactly you are seeing this on? Is it only with that snippet in place that you see this problem (if so you may need to tweak it a little more)?
Barry
MemberI wouldn’t say unachievable, there is almost certainly a way to do this, but it is definitely one of the more complicated views that ship with Pro and making tweaks isn’t something we’re going to be able to help you with via the support forums at this time.
Really I would suggest investigating this further with the help of a suitable designer/developer and/or making a feature request as we’d certainly give due consideration to a change of this nature.
If it helps, we could certainly provide a list of freelancers/independent developers who might be able to help?

MemberSorry for the inconvenience, vcitrano.
In the first instance can you try adding this snippet to your theme’s functions.php file and see if that helps to resolve this?
