MemberInteresting. I’m going to guess that is a reference to the global $page variable which WordPress uses to track which page of results is being viewed. Yet, certainly with a default theme, I see that is still correctly set in this sort of context.
Have you reached out to the theme developer here?

MemberHi: there’s no means to adjust this built in to our settings, I’m afraid. Can I ask why you wish to adjust this?

MemberHi Ray,
We’d love to help if we can π
Ideally we’d stick to one issue per thread – so let’s deal with the additional fields issue here and if you could create a new thread for the problem when saving new events that would be awesome.
Iβve enabled my additional fields as URLs but canβt save the URLs when entered.
I’m not completely sure what is going wrong – do you mean the URL is basically wiped from that field as soon as you save? If so, can you give an example of the sort of URL you are entering?
It would also be fantastic if you could confirm whether or not this happens with no other plugins activated (except for The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO) and only a default, unmodified theme running (such as Twenty Thirteen).
Let us know!
Barry
MemberCould you compare today’s date with the event start or end date – whichever is appropriate in your case – and test things that way?
Example:
$is_past = ( date('Y-m-d') > tribe_get_end_date( null, false, 'Y-m-d' ) );Would that work here?
April 15, 2014 at 3:11 pm in reply to: View All Events in Category from List Widget is showing all events #133537Barry
MemberHi amandathepanda,
Unfortunately this is a known bug and while we can’t offer any guarantees as to when the fix will be delivered it’s certainly one we’re working hard to resolve.
What I’ve done is attach this thread to the corresponding report on our internal issue tracker – and as soon as we’ve got something substantive to report we’ll do our best to post an update in here, so as to keep you informed about progress.
Apologies for the inconvenience and thanks for bearing with us π
Barry
MemberHi Richard: would it be possible for you to use our list widget, but set it to show a single event from a specific category?
Barry
MemberThat’s definitely a shame, I’m sorry to hear it.
Can you describe some of the issues you are facing and which version did you try updating to? Would it be possible for you to put your site in maintenance mode, deactivate all other plugins (and switch to a default theme) and then update?
Barry
MemberIt’s definitely possible but will require some customization work.
This tutorial is in need of some updates (hence the caveat at the start!) so it won’t work quite as expected as is, even so it could serve as a useful blueprint for you if you want to go ahead and build your own solution here.
I hope that helps – and good luck π
