MemberHmm, ok. Exceeding the query limit is unlikely then.
This plugin is not officially supported by Modern Tribe but might be useful in troubleshooting: could you try installing and activating it, then edit the venue in question and look to see if the venue has a set of coordinates (longitude/latitude) in a small meta box on the right hand side of the venue editor screen?

MemberHi!
Please note that we do not typically deliver support over weekends. By no means are we ignoring you, but ordinarily we operate during normal working hours Monday-Friday, so if you post on a weekend (or even late on Friday) you can reasonably expect a reply on Monday.
I see you already posted another thread on the PRO forum which is great – that’s exactly the right place for technical support questions and we’ll keep the conversation going there.
Thanks!

Please note though that it is best to post one thread per issue/question – this helps us to resolve issues quickly and also helps to ensure we deliver fair service to all our customers ๐
– shortcut event category with Event Rocket : result: not working, I get a grey bar
– shortcut event calendar : this worksFor any issues relating to Event Rocket, please post on the appropriate forum: Event Rocket is a side project (of my own) but is not an official Modern Tribe plugin and we offer no support for it here on the Modern Tribe forums.
– display the calendar in iphone: I get the currency for the event on top (below a clock icon) : note that I donโt see any currency icon in my laptop. Only in iphoneโฆthatsโ strange. I need to delete it, so I tried an delete the currency icon in event details and now I get a โ-โ (minus) sign.
Can we start by confirming if this is only an issue that arises with your theme? For instance, if you switch to a default and unmodified theme such as Twenty Thirteen do you experience the same thing?
(…and for all other issues, please post them as separate threads – thanks!)

MemberHi!
I’m afraid that isn’t something that will change by adding PRO to the stack – and there are no current plans to add this. That said, we’re always on the lookout for great new ideas and you’re more than welcome to post a feature request for this:
Thanks!

MemberHmm, the very same address works perfectly for me when I test locally. How busy is your site? I wonder if you might have exceeded Google’s query limits.

MemberThat’s definitely strange, as we test with WooCommerce quite a lot (in regards to our WooCommerce Tickets plugin) … can yo confirm which version of WooCommerce you are running – and if this problem is specific to WooCommerce itself, or if some other WooCommerce-related addons need to be present and activated to see it?

MemberHow odd! Awesome you figured out a fix though (and thanks for sharing the solution) ๐

MemberIt’s not always possible for the plugin to obtain the cover image for events that it imports – however, generally if you see that error in relation to one or more imported events the events themselves are still imported (it’s just that they won’t initially have a featured image).
I believe this is the reason why some events are not importing successfully from Facebook.
So between this and your initial post I’m still a bit confused as to the actual problem: is it simply that some events are not being imported? Is it consistently the same events that fail to import and can you give me an example of one (by sharing the event page URL on Facebook)?
Thanks!

MemberMy pleasure – and I’ve logged an issue so we can investigate making these styles transfer more seamlessly to child themes in the future – so thank you very much for raising our awareness of this.

MemberHmm, it’s certainly puzzling and as that event has now passed it won’t be listed in a search of upcoming events in any case.
I do see there is a venue further up the coast with an upcoming event and searching for either Delray Beach orย Boca Raton works as expected. Searching for Miami in this case does not return any results, but, I suspect that’s because this particular venue is more than 25 miles from whatever Google deems to be the geographic centre of Miami.
So, it seems like map view/location based searching is working – but if you wished to create a new test event in the future, taking place in Miami, we can take another look and see if there’s a particular sticking point there.
