MemberHi Seth,
Operationally it should cause no problems whatsoever 🙂
The current system isn’t ideal (for multisite networks) but in this case, for instance, you might add your agency key on one network and the business site on another.
If the actual breakdown of sites doesn’t match the license type, it doesn’t actually matter (so if you had 6 sites on one network and 7 on another you could apply the licenses either way) – nothing will cease to function.
Does that clarify things?
Barry
MemberThanks for confirming!
We are planning on launching a dedicated multisite network license in the near future, for the time being though and given the number of sites you are describing, one or more agency licenses would probably be the most cost effective and appropriate solution.

MemberHmm, yep it’s definitely a case where seeing the actual page (and being able to inspect the HTML and CSS) would be helpful.
Are you able to facilitate that?
Barry
MemberHi Michael,
You can upload screenshots to your own site (or a service like Dropbox) then share the URLs in your reply.
That said, problems like what you are describing frequently have their roots and solutions in some CSS code and it isn’t easy to determine what exactly based on a screenshot alone.
Would you be able to make an example of the problem available on a publicly accessible test site?

MemberHi!
It’s readily possible to customize The Events Calendar – and, for that matter, all of our event-related plugins – through template overrides.
There are also a huge number of action and filter hooks – so you can also change how the plugin behaves (and not just how it displays) safely and without actually modifying any core plugin code.
From a theming perspective, our Themer’s Guide will give you an idea of how this pieces together.
Does that help at all? Basically, when done the right way and in line with common WordPress best practices, there is no need whatsoever to change plugin code when customizing 🙂

MemberHi Spencer,
You didn’t provide a domain or URL so I can’t check it out for myself – but can you confirm firstly which version of Events Calendar PRO you are using and secondly what sort of post you are using the shortcode in (ie, a regular blog post, a page, etc)?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberWhether it’s a personal project or not only you can judge 🙂
Events Calendar PRO as a whole remains a GPL-licensed, open source project, however, so I don’t think you’re in any grave danger here – but if you have any further doubts or misgivings about your use of that particular component of the plugin it really would be best to reach out to the owner of the code (metafizzy.co).

MemberHi Paul,
Introducing timezone support is something we are actively considering, but at this time it is not part of the feature set.
It might be possible to workaround it with custom or additional fields, though, allowing you to indicate the timezone when you create and edit events. By using suitable hooks, such as tribe_events_event_schedule_details, you could then adjust the time/date information presented to customers appropriately.
However, at this time I’m afraid it’s the sort of customization we’d really need to leave in your hands as there are many different facets to this.
Last but not least, please do consider up-voting this existing feature request (it’s already under review, but adding your support is still worthwhile).
Thanks!

MemberHi nes49,
When you import an event from Eventbrite it will also import the assigned venue.
Though this may be similar and even near-identical to an existing venue you manually crafted within your WordPress site, unless it shares the same unique Eventbrite venue ID it will be treated as a separate entity.
It might be possible for us to introduce new logic that looks for address-based matches and if you think that would meet your needs you are more than welcome to propose it over on our UserVoice page:
This will also allow others to comment on and support the idea – giving us a great sense for how much demand their might be (by the same token, please do search for suitable existing requests – if you can find one, it would be better to up-vote it rather than creating a separate suggestion).
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi nes49,
Currently when events are imported they are converted to “local time”, and the difference in time you are seeing suggests this is what is happening in your case.
The reason for this is that if your site is running in PST, and an event taking place at 1pm EDT is imported as taking place at 1pm PST, for example, then it will disappear from upcoming event lists a number of hours before it should.
However, we’re aware this is not ideal for everyone and we will make timezone conversion optional in an upcoming release.
My server is on PT, but, again, the WordPress time is ET.
That’s puzzling since our plugin ought to be respecting the WordPress timezone setting: can you confirm what that is set to in your case (ie, what the setting literally reads as)?
Thanks!

MemberHi Chris,
I’m not 100% sure if you are describing a process for filtering/navigation or grouping of events, but you can certainly customize all of our views (and in fact build completely new views). Please see the following to get you started:
More in-depth customizations like this are typically the sort of thing we really need to leave in your hands, though of course if any more specific questions crop up in the process do feel free to ask away (if nothing else, we might at least be able to point you in the right direction) 🙂
