MemberHi Wojciech – how are you getting on here?
September 6, 2012 at 8:24 am in reply to: Short Code not working–can't get the calendar to display #24636Barry
MemberHi Alysia – how are you getting on with this?
Barry
MemberHey Doug – how did you get on with this? Could be useful to other members of the community to share the solution (if you found one and if you’re happy to share). Thanks!
Barry
MemberHey Michael – do you need any further help on this one?
Barry
MemberHey again Tony, just reviewing old posts here and I realized I might have totally misinterpreted your request. If you were referring to the event list on the admin side then other than applying one of the provided filters there aren’t really any other options here. Sorry!
Barry
MemberRather than duplicate topics I’ll close this one and any further comments (or feedback from our devs) can be handled here instead: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-events-calendar-pro-and-wpml/
Barry
MemberNo worries, there are a ton of options in there so it’s easy to miss things – I do it all the time 😉

MemberHi Bonnie!
Anything is possible. You would need to do some template customization to make this happen however.
The first thing to check out is our Themer’s Guide – it’s got all the information you need to do this. In particular you probably want to edit a custom version of the list.php view.
Hope that gets you on track!

MemberHi Camilo – thanks for getting in touch. Can you confirm that you’ve completed the following steps:
1. In the event editor for this particular event have you checked off the “Show Google Map” option in the “Event Location Details” section?
2. In the Events > Settings > General options page have you also checked the “Enable Google Maps” option?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Patti – have you taken a look at the “Use a custom list of countries” option on the Events > Settings > Defaults page (admin side)?

MemberHey Tony … sorry about that, I think a line of code was missing. Can you try this (as the content of your ecp-single-template.php file)? http://pastebin.com/X95La2Bi

MemberThat’s curious … unless I am mistaken however it seems to be a problem that occurs with this particular theme whether we use custom Events Calendar templates or not.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention though … I’ll need a little time to figure this out.
September 6, 2012 at 6:26 am in reply to: Separate page layout for gridview vs. single event listing #24615Barry
MemberYes: so there are two different templates I think you will be interested in here. One is ecp-page-template.php and the month or grid view, as well as the upcoming events list, are served up using that template.
The second is ecp-single-template.php and an individual event listing is contained within that.
If your theme is called “my-theme” then both of those templates, if you choose to use them, should be located like so:
wp-content/themes/my-theme/events/ecp-page-template.php
wp-content/themes/my-theme/events/ecp-single-template.phpIf these files don’t exist within your theme then The Events Calendar will use its default templates which can be found in:
wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views
You can also use those default templates as a starting point for your custom templates. Does that explain things any better?
Barry
MemberSounds like a plan: hopefully you find the source of the problem, but either way we’d love to hear how you get on.
