    Hi Robert,

Sorry to hear that – however to clean up you would need to manually remove entries from the database. It may be possible to encapsulate this in a short number of queries rather than dropping table rows one-by-one, however, if you are familiar and comfortable with MySQL.

All traces of Woocommerce were deleted from the database as expected after deleting the plugin from the WP backend.

You could be correct here but just be aware of the possibility that, apart from the default pages that WooCommerce installs, any other entries in the posts table are likely to remain in place.

So regarding the original problem, that’s been fixed as of the next release of WooTickets.

But now i was trying display the event name on the woocommerce “order complete” email. Please i need the code it as soon as posible.

Can you add this to a new thread? It makes it a lot easier for other people when searching for similar things – and also prevents confusion where multiple different problems and issues are being discussed in a single thread.

Thanks! (I’ll now close this thread.)

You’re referring to the Wrong datatype … in post-template.php line 1039 right?

That’s an issue which has been reported by others but only affects certain installations, unfortunately we aren’t quite sure why as to date we haven’t been able to replicate it ourselves. Early testing with some of the people who are affected by this suggests it is resolved in our 3.0 code, however.

And that is also unknown right?

3.0 is currently in beta testing so I don’t expect it is too far away, but no we can’t provide an actual date as an ETA.

I wish I could give you an ETA but unfortunately I cannot. I suspect any changes in this direction will be after the initial 3.0 release, however.

You can certainly request a refund – they’re assessed on a case by case basis and what I’d suggest in the first instance is emailing us ([email protected], marking your email for the attention of my colleague Leah) and including a copy of your PayPal receipt.

Please also link to this thread and Leah will take things from there.

Point taken; all I can really say is the intention was that it would work without Pro without causing problems like this – and on that level we’ve plainly failed.

3.0 is still in beta so I can understand your not being happy with it, however once it is released in stable form it should address this issue for those users who want to use Eventbrite and our core plugin without also purchasing Pro.

I understand completely that this has been a massive pain for you – and I’d like to thank you for being so patient while we ran through the troubleshooting process here, which has if nothing else motivated changes to our codebase.

I think we’re talking at cross-purposes slightly. You’ve registered an existing taxonomy – event categories – so that they can be used with venues. So if you want to add them to your menu you should be able to do so by the means I described.

You won’t actually see the venues if you follow those links, however, without further work.

I don’t think so, but you could workaround this either by amending your templates so they don’t show end times or, if you have a mixture of events – some that you need to show an end time for and some that you don’t – you could use a special tag, category or custom field to indicate if the end time should not be displayed.

Glad to hear you all found workarounds: since it sounds like you are all sorted and this has now moved out of the domain of pre-sales questions I will now close this thread.

Well, unable to use it with WPML at present at least.

If that’s unworkable for you then please consider emailing us (at [email protected]) marking your email for the attention of my colleague Leah, should you wish to request a refund. If you also include a copy of your PayPal receipt and a link to this thread that would be helpful.

Sorry we can’t do more on this occasion.

Well, that would depend on what you are using to handle the translations.

Since the label fields are dynamic (they can be set to anything) they are not passed through WordPress’s translation functions, as they would not be understood by utilities such as gettext (normally used to build .mo/.po files).

In this case you’d really need to contrive a custom solution to the problem.

You don’t need to enter the license key – you can omit that, the plugin will still function so you should be good to go ahead and test it out.

    Hi marcjulia,

Is there a reason why you wouldn’t simply use the language of your choice for the label?

This could be related to the fact that you are using an old version of jQuery (rather than the latest version bundled with WordPress).

Can you take a look at this thread which explains the situation?
