March 22, 2013 at 7:52 am in reply to: How can I order my tickets with the prices descending and add a booking fee? #43771
Barry
MemberIf you mean the snippet in this thread all you really need to do is reverse the 1 and -1 values like I did here and it will work in the opposite direction.
Regarding booking fees, it’s not something that is supported by WooTickets but possibly you could edit the ticket in WooCommerce and/or customize on top of that plugin to achieve this?
It’s a nice idea and I’ll certainly make a note of it for the team to consider in a future release, but right now we don’t really have anything to offer.

MemberYou could potentially do this via CSS by using the :first-child selector. Your upcoming events list looks a little strange though (in terms of its HTML structure) … have you customized it at all?

MemberThanks for updating symbioses 🙂

MemberOne approach is to simply include the gridview template from within whichever theme template relates to your front page:
include '{path-to-your-theme}/events/gridview.php';Note that if they navigate to a different month etc or return to the calendar from a single event page they will still return to the version found at yoursite.com/events (if you are using that slug).
Hope that makes sense!

MemberThanks for the screenshot – can you expand the ticket details though, so that I can see for example the start/end sale dates?
Barry
MemberHi Antonio!
Can you link to an event where you have set up tickets and can you also share a screenshot of your settings for that same event?
Barry
MemberHmm, afraid I don’t have any further ideas on that one – I suggested the switch to virtual/downloadable (you might have to play with permutations of those, ie just virtual or just downloadable) because others on the forum have found that to be a viable fix.
The only alternative is to return to the default set up and mark the orders complete (or else contrive an automated solution of your own).
There’s not much more I can do on this one, we’ve logged a proposed change but it is still under consideration.
Barry
MemberUnfortunately I don’t … I don’t think the team has made a firm decision on that just yet.
Barry
MemberUs too! As soon as I can provide a substantive response I’ll get back to you.
Barry
MemberWell, in discussing this with our developer it seems it is actually part and parcel of the same problem. If you can bear with us I’ll try to update you as soon as I can, though it might take a couple of days.

MemberSorry for the delay Tom, but yes: the code will not run because pre_get_posts doesn’t fire in that scenario so, basically, you’d have to find another way of doing this – such as using the tribe_get_events filter.
I’ve verified that my filter is being executed for both the Event List view as well as the Calendar view.
To clarify, pre_get_posts will typically happen one or more times during the request – but not in relation to the events being fetched for the calendar grid.

MemberDefinitely, if you could email me ([email protected] FAO Barry) then I’ll happily send you our beta code – your help is very much appreciated here 🙂
Barry
MemberWe still aren’t putting a date or even rough ETA out there, but, soon 🙂

MemberWell, if nothing else you can count yourself a member of a small and elite group who know both systems intimately 🙂
More seriously, because it’s looking like a fringe case and (if I’m not mistaken) one you can work around without too much effort I’m not really sure if we will take this forward … but, if you could bear with me a little longer I’d just like to check in once more with the team to collect their thoughts on this.
One question I have is this: is it at all possible that the problematic organizer record was created before Events Calendar PRO was activated? I get the impression it was not, but I’d just like to be sure.
