MemberThemes can affect just about any aspect of WordPress, the admin environment included. I can take a quick look at the theme and see if anything jumps out, if you want to send across a copy (just in case it has customizations/also requires a child theme etc beyond what I can download from themble.com/bones).

MemberOK, I can see a previous events link on your upcoming events list – however I don’t think you have any events after July 7 which would explain why there is no next events link, since they are all covered in the initial view.
Does that make sense/am I misunderstanding at all?

MemberHi Lyse, just looking now. Just for ref – we do have a private reply facility if you want to add details like passwords after your initial post, unless of course access isn’t of particular consequence.
April 5, 2013 at 8:24 am in reply to: Adding a ticket via the WooCommerce Add Order option, increments stock number! #44980Barry
MemberHi Sandie, there are a few facets to this. The first thing to be aware of is the following aspect of WooCommerce:
I added an offline ticket via the ‘Add Order’ option … On checking, WooTickets now believes there to be 13 tickets and the product in WooCommerce still shows 12 available
That is just how WooCommerce functions. We did initially think it was a bug however it seems it is by design. So on that front, per feedback from one of the WooCommerce developers, you would need to manually adjust inventory to work around this.
For the rest, our next release should tackle the problem with new orders not being picked up by WooTickets – do note however that a further issue where previous orders are manually adjusted will not be addressed until a much later release.

MemberNormally we produce monthly maintenance releases: right now that’s slipped as we’re focusing heavily on developing The Events Calendar 3.0 but I’d imagine we’ll get back to that sort of schedule in the near future.
Regarding this specific issue though, I just checked in with the dev team and right now it sounds like the changes needed to resolve this issue are at least two releases away.
So, it’s possible we’ll see this in 2-3 months but you’re right, we can’t really commit to a precise timeframe.

MemberI believe that piece of documentation is still in a work in progress, but any links to it could definitely be misleading so I’ll make a note to have them adjusted.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
April 5, 2013 at 7:02 am in reply to: How do I activate the 'SOLD OUT' reference on the frontend? #44960Barry
MemberHi Sandie.
You can certainly change the text. If you haven’t already done so however please take some time to read our themer’s guide and also this tutorial on template overrides.
The idea would be to copy the default tickets.php template (which normally resides in the wp-content/plugins/wootickets/views directory) and place it inside your theme in a special events sub-directory. Thus your copy would be found at:
wp-content/themes/{YOUR_THEME}/events/tickets.php
You would then look for this line of code (around line 76) and change it to something like this. Does that help here?

MemberWe certainly agree that this is an issue and have logged it as such. Our intention (in a future release) will be to remove attendees whenever an order is cancelled.
April 5, 2013 at 6:35 am in reply to: How do I activate the 'SOLD OUT' reference on the frontend? #44956Barry
MemberSuppose you have ticket inventory of 100 and they have all been purchased. The ticket form on the single event page will then display an Out of Stock! notice like this.
In other words, the idea is that it self-activates according to stock levels rather than being something you would explicitly turn on.
April 5, 2013 at 6:20 am in reply to: How do I activate the 'SOLD OUT' reference on the frontend? #44951Barry
MemberHi Sandie:
When you say that no sold out reference of any description appears on the Events overview page, do you mean the events calendar/upcoming events list? If so then no, no out of stock message will appear there. Though you could certainly customize things to make this happen.
None of the other inventory settings seem to affect the output on the single event page. Are they meant to, have I missed something here?
I’m not quite sure what you mean, can you give me an example of one of the inventory settings you have adjusted and what you are expecting to see?

MemberDoesn’t this just need to be set to ‘virtual’ by default?
Yes, so as per the initial answer to Joe’s question we’re considering this as an option for a future release 🙂
As an interim workaround, wouldn’t just manually amending the WooCommerce product to ‘virtual’ work
I believe that does work, yes, and some users have already reported as much on the forum. The best thing to do is test this approach out and see if it works for you.

MemberHi Sandie,
We’re shooting for some time in the next couple of months – however we can’t offer up any guarantees on that front.
