MemberHi John,
Am I conceiving of something wrong to expect the calendar to show all the events of the day regardless of whether or not some of those are repeating events. I do not understand your point or your concern.
I simply couldn’t see the problem using the example you provided – however I see what you mean now and can replicate this.
It looks as though pagination isn’t supported on day view, so bear with me while I ask a developer about this/check if they can provide a quick solution.

MemberHi Jared,
The importer tool that is under development will work with CSV data first and foremost, currently there are no plans to pull events in via an iCal feed (though it is possible that may be integrated).
Also, in case it helps you to plan, we don’t expect it to become available until after The Events Calendar 3.0 is released.
Cheers!

MemberHi hometownchatter,
Everyone on these forums is a paying customer π however we do largely keep to regular working hours (Mon-Fri 9-5) with some variations as the team is distributed over a wide area, so questions posted late on Friday or over the weekend typically have to wait until Monday until a team member can reply. We’re sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.
To the problem at hand:
I think I set it up right, but when I go here: http://hometownchatter.com/events/community/add it doesnβt take me to an add event page.
So it looks like a fatal error might be occurring as only part of the page is being rendered – that certainly does suggest a conflict somewhere along the line. Can you try running through our standard troubleshooting steps?
- Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11 (if you are using that plugin) and, in this case, Community Events 1.0.5
- Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
- Now test to see if the problem still exists
- If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
- If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item

Memberdoes the order becomes complete when payment is made or does it need to be processed manually?
So there are a few variables to take into account here, but generally speaking you need to check the order list in WooCommerce and manually complete the order if necessary.
Some users change the ticket product type (via the WooCommerce product editor) to virtual/downloadable and in some cases that will facilitate orders being automatically marked complete – however I believe that ultimately depends on the payment gateway in use.
what is the way to customize the pdf ticket?
You would need a fairly good working knowledge of WordPress development to do this – for me I think the easiest path would be to unhook WooTickets’ PDF generator (the woocommerce_email_attachments filter hook is relevant here) and build a new custom solution in its place.
We are aware that customizing the PDF tickets is currently something of a chore and we are going to introduce changes in this area in the next release.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberPossibly yes – but this would be something you’d have to handle through WooCommerce (whether by discounts or some other means), it’s not something the WooTickets facilitates by itself.
You can link to the WooCommerce product editor from each ticket by following the Edit in WooCommerce link π

MemberThere are a few different ways you might do that, one could be to add an extra CSS rule to your stylesheet:
#tribe-events-loop > div { border-bottom: 1px solid #faa; }That could either go in your theme’s stylesheet or your custom events.css stylesheet (to learn about setting up a custom events.css stylesheet please see our themer’s guide) – if you are at all unsure about where it goes, the bottom of the file is usually a safe bet π

MemberThis gives an example of using tribe_get_posts() – can you try tweaking that to fit your requirements?
Barry
MemberI’m afraid that would really be the realm of a third party plugin or customization, at least at present, since the way that link works is to add a single event to Google Calendar, therefore it wouldn’t work with multiple events – it’s quite different to the iCal link in that regard.
Please do feel free to add this to our UserVoice page if you wish – that way we can get a feel for demand and our development team can investigate options to make it happen. Thanks!
Barry
MemberRight – so perhaps there is something in the settings for your theme that I didn’t have in place, since I was basically seeing the same result, albeit formatted differently, in Twenty Twelve and in Canvas.
With that in mind, is there any more information you can provide pertaining to how Canvas is configured on your installation that might allow me to replicate this?
Barry
MemberHi Louis,
I’m just going to move this across to the WooTickets forum to keep things organized.
That’s a great idea though – I’ll definitely take note of it – and can I highlight also that we have a UserVoice page which means you can add suggestions and others can indicate if they too want to see the same thing – giving us a really good metric as to how much demand there is for a given feature.
Barry
MemberExcellent, glad you’re all sorted π
Barry
MemberSure, there is definitely scope for a few improvements and remember also that you can add feature requests on our UserVoice page – that way other users can show their support and we get a good feel for demand.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberNo problem – thank you for reporting this π
Barry
MemberOK, well if you have any further issues along these lines you know where to reach us π
Barry
MemberOK. So there’s a difference there because for me, with Canvas, in both scenarios what I see is as per the screenshot I shared with you. That itself isn’t ideal on two levels – it probably should be a 404 in one of those cases and the formatting ought to be better – but I’d suspect it is an improvement over seeing a random post excerpt π
I actually have no idea why you are seeing a post excerpt in your case. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to see if that results from a plugin conflict?
It would also be useful to get a little context on why this is a critical issue for you – that’s not to downplay the problem but simply to ensure we give this the priority it deserves. Are you finding that visitors are regularly navigating to non existent events?
