We currently have an iCal feed option in our private Learning Management System and I would like to allow our users to Publish that calendar on their Public course blog. Will the Importer allow for consistent harvesting of dates from an iCal feed onto the Events Calendar, or is this an importer to service people who are trying to move from Google Calendar over to your platform.

If the latter, is it possible to do what I am suggesting? To have one (or multiple) iCal feeds updating one Events Calendar?

    Hi Jared,

The importer tool that is under development will work with CSV data first and foremost, currently there are no plans to pull events in via an iCal feed (though it is possible that may be integrated).

Also, in case it helps you to plan, we don’t expect it to become available until after The Events Calendar 3.0 is released.

    Cheers!
