    Thanks for sharing. I see that you have about 7639 venues. Now I understand why it is so slow.

    Note, saving shouldn’t be slow, it is rather the loading of the “edit event” page.

    We see the issue and we’ll definitely look into that as that is a big performance hit. An internal bugticket is already on file.

    We’ll look into it, likely something happened during the packaging process.

    Sorry about the translations issues, let me try to help you fix those.

    To be able to better support you I’d like to ask you to share your system information with me.

    To get you started until then:

    Normally translations are done in the .po files which you can find in the lang folder of the plugins, for example wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/the-events-calendar-de_DE.po

    You can edit these files either with PoEdit or with the Loco Translate plugin.

    Hello Peter,

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry about your troubles.

    Events Calendar PRO gives you a more advanced version of the Event List widget. Since it is a different widget than the one that comes with The Events Calendar, the old one gets deactivated and removed.

    You need to go to your Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and set it up again.

    Could you share with me the file that you are trying to import? I would like to run a test with it.

    Can you also share the url to Florian’s post? We get hundreds of requests every week and it is difficult to track down a thread by a name. I couldn’t find anything with “Florian” on June 13.

    Also it would be great if you could share your system information.

    3º ¿Porqué no aparecen los botones si tengo un listado por categorías?

    The buttons appear on the views which are based on the list view. These are the List view, Day view and Map view. If you use one of these to list your categories, you should see the buttons as well.

    Hello Rob,

    Thanks for reaching out to us with your questions. Let me try to answer them for you.

    In our recent release we have introduced the “Buy now” buttons which are visible on the list based views (List, Day and Map views). For these we have introduced the tribe-button class and have applied it to the buttons on the single event page as well to streamline the look of the buttons across all pages.

    With this new feature some formatting has been adjusted as well, that is why you might see some changes.

    However, I believe the missing line is a bug. I have filed a bugticket for that so our developers can take a look at it and fix it.

    As a workaround, until the fix arrives, you can paste this css snippet into your theme’s style.css file:

    .tribe-events-tickets td.woocommerce {
    border-bottom: 1px solid #dfdfdf;
    }

    If you would like to style the button on the single event page, then you can do it with this css snippet:

    .tribe-events-tickets .woocommerce.add-to-cart .tribe-button {
    /* styles you want */
    }

    Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

    You got a great question there. Let me help you out with this.

    Searching for ZIP code can be done with the regular search bar that comes with Events Calendar PRO.

    If you want more filtering options, then Filter Bar is a good complement to that. However a specific filter for ZIP doesn’t exist out of the box.

    While the filter for ZIP code is not available, the good news is that it can be created with a bit of development. And I was curious enough to quickly do that. I tested it on my local install and the ZIP filtering works.

    It is not a separate plugin (at the moment) but a code snippet that you will need to paste into your theme’s functions.php file. Here it is:

    Note, this will help you filter through the ZIP codes that are in your database / assigned to your venues. If you would like to filter for a ZIP that is not there, that will likely not work.

    As for placing the Filter Bar on other pages, at the moment that is not a supported function, I’m sorry. It might be possible with some custom development.

    So that I get a better understanding of your issue, could you share with me where and how you get that information?

    I checked the queries with Query Monitor plugins. What I see is a SELECT with a lot of IDs, likely to populate the venue and / or organizer dropdown, when preparing or editing an event. However, I don’t see any UPDATEs.

    Thanks for reaching out! Let me try to answer your questions.

    1. Unfortunately that feature is not available straight out of the box.

    I recommend you take a look at this extension:
    https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/view-print-download-pdf-tickets/

    While this doesn’t attach the ticket as a pdf it will add a link to the email where users can download the PDF version.

    Note that it will not add the download link to the frontend my orders page.

     

    2. You can modify the email layout if you do a template override. I suggest our Themer’s Guide to get started on that.

    You will need to create an override for this file:

    wp-content\plugins\event-tickets\src\views\tickets\email.php
