I need tickets to be downloadable under My Account > Orders

Hi guys.

I have two questions:

1.- For someone who has bought tickets, how can I make tickets downloadable under My Account > Orders > Actions, for example, as a PDF file? I prefer to send the ticket by email as as PDF file instead of in the body of the email.
2.- Where I can modify the ticket layout?

Hello Cesar,

Thanks for reaching out! Let me try to answer your questions.

1. Unfortunately that feature is not available straight out of the box.

I recommend you take a look at this extension:
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/view-print-download-pdf-tickets/

While this doesn’t attach the ticket as a pdf it will add a link to the email where users can download the PDF version.

Note that it will not add the download link to the frontend my orders page.

 

2. You can modify the email layout if you do a template override. I suggest our Themer’s Guide to get started on that.

You will need to create an override for this file:

wp-content\plugins\event-tickets\src\views\tickets\email.php
