    Hi Jonah,
    Thanks for investigating and for your help. I would need some further details though about how I would revise the conditional code for various event related pages… Does this mean I will have to go through and change some code in every Event Calendar template page? Or do I need to make these changes in the header / footer? My knowledge of PHP is basic and just need some further details as to what these changes would be exactly. You said there’s conditional code in those files that throws in sidebars – but it doesn’t do this if I create a new page from my fullwidth template – it only does it for the Event Calendar.
    Thanks again for your help.

    Hi Jonah,
    OK thanks – that’s a good idea to do a site wide code trawl and will definitely be quicker than my random searches.

    Hi Again,
    This problem is now fixed – I selected the default events template for my EC settings and this fixed it 🙂

    Hi Rob,
    I just updated the plugin (as well as the Events Calendar) and now have an alignnment problem – that my sidebar has dropped down below the main content when it should be floating to the right (please see http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/event/soul-connection-retreat-yoga-nature-discovery-in-costa-rica/)
    It seems that the code is no longer recognising the below (in my style sheet)
    .tribe-events-events .tribe-events-event-entry {
    position:relative;
    width:60%;

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hi again,
    I have solved this problem – have put the below code in my functions.php file and it now works perfectly!

    Hi Jonah,
    Thanks for this info. Would you be able to give me a few more details though – or a url with further instructions as to which code/syntax to use for ‘addthis_exclude’ = ‘true’? I have played around with this a bit but so far have not come up with the answer.
    Thanks,

    Hi All,
    I just wanted to report that I have also this WP-Router redirect problem for the ‘My Events’ link. I don’t have %%category%% permalinks so this isn’t causing the problem. My install is on twentyten and now running WP 3.4.1 . Is there still a fix for this due out mid July? If so I will just disable ‘Edit Events’ on the Community settings in the Calendar for the time being.
    Thanks,
    Michelle

    Hi Bruce,
    Can you share your workaround? This Visual Editor issue has been bugging me for weeks and I have no solution except to change themes, which I don’t want to do as my theme is a highly customised child theme.
    Thanks!

    Hi Jonah,
    Thanks for taking a look. I have looked into the code – and it looks like the form is taking some of the style from the events.css and some from the main style.css and this is what’s causing the problem. I thought perhaps I could remedy it but it’s really too complex and I don’t want to end up having to change core bits of the main stylesheet to accommodate this form as that will knock out of alignment other stuff. To me it looks like the code needs to be altered so that this form only takes it’s style instructions from events.css. At the moment I’m not using the Community plugin as this Visual Editor alignment problem makes it look quite bad and my customers will really need to use the Visual Editor.

    Hi Jonah,
    I have just sent you an email with my login details. I have deactivated other plugins and this doesn’t make any diff. I haven’t reverted to TwentyEleven as am concerned I may not easily be able to revert back to my twentyten child theme. Anyway, if you could have a look that would be great.
    Thanks – Michelle

    Hi Jonah – I obviously missed your post (above). If you are still able to take a look at this problem – which is still there I’ll email you my admin details today. Thanks.

    Hi Jim & Jonah,
    I have had exactly the same problems as Jim with the visual editor in Firefox (haven’t yet tested too many others). Eventually I gave up trying to fix it and have reverted to using the HTML version (which isn’t perfect but is better than the visual editor (mine looks the same as Jim’s screenshots). I am using the Twentyten theme, and none of my plugins have any impact on the Visual Editor appearance. I agree with Jim that it’s a bug and also would be great if this Editor could have a specific css that would override the theme’s CSS to avoid these problems.
    Thanks!
