ParticipantHi Jonah – thanks that does just what I need 🙂
Michelle
ParticipantHi Jonah – Thanks – but what about with multiple currencies? My events maybe Euro, US dollar, AU dollar etc and more. Is there a way I can factor in all the different possible currencies to the output and then choose the appropriate one via the admin?
Cheers, MichelleMichelle
ParticipantHi I just wanted to confirm here – there’s no way to have the ‘cost’ field showing if the EventBrite plugin is installed? This means effectively that for the user to see a ‘cost’ for the event – each event needs to be registered with Eventbrite. I would like to be able to have some of my events listed on Eventbrite and some not – but the cost still showing on the ones that aren’t listed. Is this possible?
Thanks.Michelle
Participantsorry my code didn’t paste – tried putting in ‘Events for then the php the_time string also.
Michelle
ParticipantAlso tried ‘Events for ‘ ;
Michelle
ParticipantHi Rob – Thanks that works except I can’t work out what the right context is to return the current month in ‘My Title’. I tried ‘Events for [month], [year]’; as well as ‘Events for but these don’t work.

ParticipantHi Rob – I now know what is causing the problem in my Visual Editor on the Event form. The Visual Editor is not defined by the ‘bubble’ div (in the events-admin.css) as are all the other sections on the form. Given it has popped out of this ‘bubble’ div it then reverts to the main table styling in the theme’s stylesheet – which is not possible to change to fit just this element.

ParticipantAlso have a question for Rob – my community form seems to has resolved funny with the visual editor floating outside of the borders of the div. http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/members/add/ Is this something you have seen before? I guess I can fix it with the theme CSS but if there is a known fix for this problem it would be better. Thanks.

ParticipantHi Craig – Would you be able to give the URL of your site? I’d be interested in having a look at how this plugin works as I’m looking for a similar solution to yours.
Michelle
ParticipantHi, I’m also wondering how to add a ‘register’ option to the community form. I’d prefer to have this all in the one place in the community form rather than have users create and identity from the WP login first.
Thanks,
MichelleMichelle
ParticipantRob – thanks for checking. Christina has been very helpful and I am now well on the way to getting my calendar operational. This is a work in progress (& content not real) but thought to post it anyway. http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/
Michelle
ParticipantHi Christina,
I also like your calendar – specifically the category dropdown (Find an Event). I am trying to implement this on my calendar but am finding it quite tricky. I am not a PHP coder – but with instructions I am sure I can make it happen. Would you be able to tell me how you did the category dropdown? I really need detailed instructions (ie what code to put in and which file it should go into..) – so if you could tell me that would be really appreciated! My calendar in its current form is online at http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/
I’m also trying to get the results for just one category to show up on the gridview but don’t know how to do that either (http://calendar.theglobalyogi.com/events/category/europe/)
Thanks,
MichelleMichelle
ParticipantJavier (page 1) has also done this (http://www.yllana.es/calendario-de-gira-yllana/Mes/) but also unfortunately left no code / instructions…
Michelle
ParticipantPerhaps you could contact Leonard and ask him if he could paste his code / instructions on how to do this category dropdown?
Just an idea…Michelle
ParticipantHi Jonah,
I haven’t put in a dropdown because I still don’t know how to do it – with the categories. I guess I need to work out how to pass the categories first.
Leonard (up top) looks like he’s done it but has left no instructions.
Thanks,
