ParticipantYes, “Set shared capacity” does not appear. There is nothing in the error log.
Greg Perham
ParticipantYour image is tiny and does not link to a larger version, so it’s very difficult to compare. Yes, the issue persists, as it will not allow me to increase the quantity.
Greg Perham
ParticipantWhat do you mean, the “Shared Capacity options was missing?”
Greg Perham
ParticipantI understand. Thank you for the explanation.

ParticipantDebug is always on in my local environment, and there haven’t been any error messages in the log. In this case, I deleted the ticket and the event and recreated both. I’ll mark this resolved for now, but I hope the forum software gets fixed so that it allows issues to be reopened when there’s new information to be added. 😉
(I know that’ll never happen, so I’ll have to create a new ticket next time I experience it, making it more difficult to keep things straight. Just another pain point in using TEC.)Greg Perham
ParticipantWC Products page shows the correct # available, so it really is just ETP screwing up.
Greg Perham
ParticipantUpdate to note the fact that this is easily reproducible on a localhost test site with Twentyseventeen and no plugins other than yours and WC.

ParticipantThe bug has been solved in my clean install for tickets that do not have any existing sales. Tickets with a past sale still show 0 or “-16” or something else random. The client doesn’t feel Modern Tribe is trustworthy, however, and is still looking to replace TEC/ETP on the production site.

ParticipantI can’t update the plugins because when I did, ticket purchasing totally broke because of other bugs ETP has with EDD. This one, for example: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/available-tickets-falls-to-0-after-1-purchase-2/
I won’t be doing any (more) troubleshooting, but is there a way to get the current completed orders to count against the total? I understand if the bugginess of ETP means the answer is no for now.
Greg Perham
ParticipantI understand. The view is labeled “Attendees” after all, rather than “Orders”. My knee-jerk reaction is to assume a bug because of the atrocious problems ETP has with EDD.

ParticipantThe fatal error has been fixed.
Before any purchases are made, the correct number of tickets is displayed.
However, after 1 purchase, the total available has been reduced by 3; then, after reloading the page a few times—0.
I think the specific issues in this thread are resolved, however we still can’t use the plugin because of the other issue with the available quantity.
Greg Perham
ParticipantFor anyone else who comes here— I opened a separate ticket when I realized the problem was more general: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/available-tickets-falls-to-0-after-1-purchase/
