Thanks, Jeremy:
I appreciate your response. Actually, we have no interest in distance radius etc. since we are a global portal as you can see it. our main interest is adding a country field to the three current fields (Date, keywords, and city). I looked in filter bar option but that too does not look like having a country option. Is there any code that I could add to have the fourth country option?

January 12, 2018 at 1:57 pm in reply to: Search bar only (not the whole calendar) on homepage #1425215ShahParticipantThanks Andras:
It can go to regular search results page
ShahParticipantYes I did. Its called recently registered. But I will prefer if there is another way to sort user by registration date.
As I mentioned I am also interested in sorting events by post dates.
I also want to be able to see number of events that different users have posted but number of posts was zero in front of all users?
Thanks for helping during holidaysShahParticipantThanks for a detailed and well-researched response. You mentioned, “If you went this route, the organizers could still allow RSVPs on the event so that users could indicate that they intend to attend”.
I have added an additional field for a link to purchase tickets but don’t understand how they can RSVP without purchasing tickets?. Did you notice that on facebook events you can indicate by clicking on interested?please do not close this thread since I am working on other issues
ShahParticipantThanks Jamie for responding to my request during holiday season:
I do not know know what is the best link to add an event. Previously it was the same on both sites. Generally when a user click on submit event it takes them to a login or register page. Please visit MEDICALEVENTS.COM and click on submit event on the top menu and see the link as well as the page it takes you.
Do the same for Pharmaevents.com and look at the URL and register / login page.
The first one looks better.Anyway, I did click on the button on both sites for sharing information with you to look at.
Once again I appreciate your help
ShahParticipantNo Jamie:
The link(that I created copying from defalut Slug under community events-to add event) for medicalEvents.com has the following URL address and takes it a different looking screen if login required:
https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community-add/addWhile The link for pharmaevents.com that got created has the following address for submitting a community event:
https://pharmaevents.com/events/community/addWill you please mind visiting my both sites, register and add a test event.
Shah
ShahParticipantI was able to fix the link that I don’t know why it was changed. But now I have an interesting question.
I use all your plug ins on two following sites. All plugins and theme are the same with latest updates. The Sdd event link URLS are different on both sites- Pharmaevents.com
https://pharmaevents.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=tribe_events
- MedicalEvents.com
https://medicalevents.com/events/https-medicalevents-com-events-community/add
By the way the first one does not mention community event add
ShahParticipantThanks you very much Patricia. You are a great help
I was able to do that through changing Keys. Now I have another small issue:
I recently purchased Event ticket plus, Community Tickets and Even calendar Pro, community events and Filter bar updates. I wanted to do that because of 30% discount offer. Somehow filter bar did not go through.
Can you check on my purchases and see what discount I got and how can I add Filter bar in this discount? I tried but the discount did not apply.
Please help

ShahParticipantthis is the message that shows when go to plugin updates for the community event:
There is a new version of The Events Calendar: Community Events available but your license key is expired. Visit the Events Calendar website to renew your license. You’ll need to renew your license in order to have access to updates, downloads, and support. View what’s new with version 4.5.7.
When I go my account it seems activated till 2018
ShahParticipantDear Jennifer:
Thanks for a detailed answer. Please let me know if I understood right.
When tickets are sold using community tickets all funds will come to us
first and then we will pay the Event organizers.Question 1: Is there any options that allows the organizers charge directly?
The money goes directly to them and they pay us whatever commission or our
cost. Does Eventbrite provide that Option? I think the organizers will feel
more comfortable that way.Question 2: If we added the Community ticket feature but an organizer wants
to sell the tickets directly through their website or whatever way they use.
Will they still be able to mention the cost of their tickets, use other
feature like RSVP / Communication with registrants etc. and still send
registrants to their own websites or have them call organizers?Question 3: Since it is a global portal and people post events from
different countries, do you think there is enough security? I have heard
that using platforms like WordPress are less secure.Question 4: Originally I had purchased the Agency license. Someone had sent
me an a message that If I delinked other sites, she could change it to
Business option that will cut the cost. I have removed some sites and have
only two now. I lost her email. Can you do that?Question 5: At some stage can we talk to a live support person? How can we
reach live support through phone?ShahParticipantHow can I subscribe to discounts page?
ShahParticipantThanks
ShahParticipantBut user registration is important part of my portal. Anyone posting event should register. I do not want anonymous people to post events.
Can we have user registration disabled and not have anonymous event posting. Can we use plugin like WP-Spamshield? What spam protection plugin is good in your opinion?
Shah
ShahParticipantThanks George. You are right this is the standard new user (welcome) email that he/she receives after registering. I have a feeling that all your other clients will have this problem therefore, I will write in detail.
This issue started with new WP upgrade to 4.3. This upgrade adds more security. Previously, the welcome emails for a new registrant had three lines in it message:
User:
Password(temporarily assigned by WP):
Link to loginThe new emails contains only two links. One takes to a page that has WP assigned password, that you copy and past on login page.
The second is simply a login link (which probably is useless since, you cannot login without a password)
in other words we cannot see the WP password in our email directly.
George you may want to click on submit event and register to see the clear picture since , others may ask you the same questions. There is a second important issue. In my previous message I mentioned that the email that a new registrant receives has three fields(after upgrading to WP 4.3. The password said “both”. This message was due to SB welcome plugin that worked well prior to WP 4.3 Upgrade. I deactivated the SB welcome plugin and it changed.
Last but not the least. Our events appeared weird N different when I used my neighbor’s computer with Windows 10. I am sure your team is testing with windows 10.
