MemberGotcha – thanks for the follow-up, Matt. Not sure if Casey saw your last note but I’ve passed it back his way just to be safe. Stay tuned!

MemberHey Jennifer, as Andy noted…any chance you can provide a link or show us a screenshot? Link would definitely be ideal.

MemberHi James. Thanks for the follow-up, and for your upgrade to the latest built (from the Themeforest/CodeCanyon version). What you see here is unfortunately not something we’ve controlled ourselves; the change itself was brought about by the fact that we updated to the latest Google Maps API when we launched 2.0. (Before 2.0 we were on an old build). What you’re seeing there is a byproduct of how Google’s map API now kicks out this data.
Hope that helps and sorry I couldn’t offer up more here. If I misunderstood your request here, please let me know and I’ll adjust my response accordingly.

MemberThanks for the follow-up, Phil. Not sure if Barry saw your last note but I’ve passed this back his way just to be safe. Stay tuned.

MemberHey Philipp: you should definitely go ahead and give Andy’s tool a shot. Our devs have been providing some feedback along the way but if it looks like it’d accomplish what you’re going for, there certainly aren’t any risks with the code or issues you need to be concerned about in that capacity. And as you can see, Andy is responsive in providing answers if you have questions or problems along the way.

MemberAndy’s link to the Genesis tut is spot on; Laura, that should help you out. But if not let me know…while Jonah (who wrote that tut) is out on sabbatical the next few weeks, I could certainly try and find another member of the team to assist if you still have questions.

MemberHi Codie. Thanks for reaching out here, and sorry to hear of the inconvenience. Have you checked whether this issue persists when you enable a pretty permalinks structure, ie /%postname%/ or something similar? Give that a go and let us know if the issue persists; we’ll do what we can to assist from there. Thanks for your support and patience in the interim.
Rob
MemberHey Ben. We have indeed gotten some reports of this; it’s the same issue Ostii was bringing up, correct? Let me know if not. Otherwise…I should have some updated code to send Ostii’s way today.
Rob
MemberHey there Philipp. I was actually out on vacation last week, but am back now and have begun the discussion with Pippin on this. I should be able to give you an update in some capacity this week and we will do all we can to get this fixed over the coming days/week. Stay tuned and please let me know if you need anything else in the interim.

MemberSorry for the confusion created on my end, too, folks. Going to close this thread out for consistency sake.
Rob
MemberThanks for that, Andy!
Goran: this give you what you need here, or are you still having any issues? Haven’t seen any activity here for a few days…

MemberNice. Fantastic to hear; thanks for confirming as much, Ray. Looks like you’re set here but if we can do anything else in the future please let us know. Going to close this thread out for now. Cheers!
Rob
MemberAwesome! Thanks for confirming as much, Don, and for your support. We sure appreciate it. Looks like you’re set here so I’m going to close out the thread…but if you need anything else down the road please let us know.
Rob
MemberHi Kate. Thanks for the follow-up, and my apologies for the delayed response…I’ve been out on vacation until today.
I’d love to have you involved. Sounds like you are a good use case based on your experience with other conference managers and we’d love to see your perspective on our own. Just a heads up that the plugin still technically hasn’t entered beta so it may be a week or so more before I can get you the code. But if you’re interested shoot me an email (pro a/ tri.be) and I’ll add you to the “VIP list.” Cheers!

MemberHi there Yvonne. Thanks for the note, and for your interest. We do have frontend event submission, and it works with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO. However in order to get it functional you will need our Community Events add-on. Details on that add-on can be found at https://theeventscalendar.com/wordpress-community-events/.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
