MemberThat’s definitely weird – I wonder if it was a permalinks issue or something. We’re working to eliminate that entirely for a future release, so hopefully others won’t have your same issue…but glad to hear you were able to get it resolved on your end. Let me know if anything else along those lines comes up again.

MemberExcellent to hear Jonah was able to help you out here, Adam. I’ll get him to nail down this final bit for you either tonight or tomorrow morning, so we’ve got it ironed out.

MemberThat’s a good question, Cary. Let me get Jonah to chime in – expect a response from him over the next 24 hours.
Rob
MemberHey again Andrew. I checked with our devs today and they couldn’t see any reason our plugin would be causing this. Any way you can change to only having our plugin active, then using for a while to see if the issue persists? The consensus on this end was that it was likely a conflict with another plugin.
Let me know. Apologies that I couldn’t offer up more on this front.
Rob
MemberHi again Massimo. I spoke with our developer Jonah on this today; looks like there isn’t an argument that can be passed when using tribe_create_events() to indicate that the event is recurring. As such I’ve asked the team to work this into the next (2.0.3) release that we move into. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.
Rob
MemberHey Roberto. I spoke to our devs today and they confirmed those are currently untranslatable; as such we’ll get that fixed for the 2.0.3 release. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Rob
MemberHey Greg. I spoke with John about this today; looks like you can do this by changing the labels for the organizer post type within the plugin itself. That point you in the right direction?

MemberHey Julien. I spoke with our developer John about this; and he’s going to need a bit more information from you. What would the archive page look like? Don’t we want our regular /events page to serve that purpose, which it does by default anyway?

MemberHey Adam. Thanks for the note. I totally understand your position and am working to get someone on the team to respond today. Just as a heads up, we’re a small shop and I’m the only full-on dedicated support person; John & Jonah help out throughout the week but they are not on full-time so don’t hit every thread every day. Given our setup we’re unfortunately not in a position where we can be providing continuous support at much faster a rate than we do now.
This being said, I do feel your pain and I’ve got this back on John’s plate, & have asked our other developer Jonah to take a look as well. (I’d offer my services as well but am unfortunately not a developer). I know Jonah is on today so if he can add anything else here you can expect a response this afternoon…otherwise I’ll need to circle up with John which likely won’t be until tomorrow.
November 14, 2011 at 11:14 am in reply to: integrating events calendar into featured content slider and newsletters? #11049Rob
MemberAlright! Thanks for confirming. What’s your email address, in that case? I’ll drop you a note accordingly.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear you found that Tineke.
Wayne: does that answer your question?
Rob
MemberThanks Reji. The best place to keep driving home the features you want to see are on our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/moderntribeinc), or in the sticky thread for proposed features that I’ve included right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/.
This one does seem pretty big, so it’s a higher priority at this point than a lot of the smaller issues – but at the same time given the scope of it such functionality probably won’t come to a head until 2.1 (versus 2.0.2 or 2.0.3). We’ll certainly post more on that once we’ve got it solidified but if you remain vocal about it, that’ll definitely keep this high on our radar.
Hope that helps and thanks for your feedback so far.

MemberLooks like this would add value for a lot of folks. Since we’re on a code freeze for 2.0.2, I’m adding it as a 2.0.3 issue. Thanks all!
Rob
MemberHi again Nick – this too might be doable. I’ll get Jonah to check on it as well. Though we don’t typically provide direction on integration with 3rd party plugins, he may say that it’s a super easy process (in which case we’ll do what we can to guide you).
