MemberHey again Timothy. Got it; thanks for the follow-up here and for the explanation. Knowing that this doesn’t impact the frontend in any capacity actually makes me think it’s less related to what I mentioned earlier than I thought. For the media uploader: I actually do see there’s another user reporting a similar problem (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-add-media-button-wont-open-to-select-media-options) so it’s definitely possible something could be better handled on our end. I’m wondering if issue B might be an outcropping of that.
Do you have this all configured on a staging site or someplace similar where you would allow me to take a look? I’d like to see this in action so I can get steps to our developer, and we can try to point you to the specific bit of code causing issues?
Thanks for your patience and for reporting this.

MemberHey there alzbetkai. Thanks for your note here, and for upgrading the plugin – we apologize for the inconvenience you’ve faced on this front so far.
Based on how you’ve described the problem, this does sound like an issue a few other users have reported related to Yoast SEO right here: https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/webmaster-tools-404-crawl-errors-recurring-events-feed-and-upcoming-events-page. Does that sound familiar to the types of links you’re seeing on your end? Do the solutions presented therein provide any value?
There’s also a related 404 issue we’re working on as described in https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/numerous-404-errors-reported-via-google-webmaster-tools/, which may have some value when addressed as well. But let me know and we’ll try to advise if it’s a different situation than outlined above.

MemberExcellent to hear you ultimately got this sorted, Joel, and sorry you had to figure it out on your own. Your solution looks solid and will surely be of use to others in the same position down the road. Cheers.

MemberHey Tara. Thanks for the follow-up here, and glad that got you sorted. Modifying the event-meta box on single displays should be pretty straightforward, and the best way to do it would probably be to create your own custom template for the single event view (single-event.php). If you need guidance on how to do a template override we’ve got the process detailed right here: https://theeventscalendar.com/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/.
In terms of the CSS: if I understand what you’re asking correctly, the plugin’s CSS files can be found in The Events Calendar’s “resources” folder. Let me know if I’m misunderstood there though.

MemberHey there Robin. Thanks for your patience here; I was finally able to take a look at this for you today. I was able to break an event out of the “Healing Service” recurrence (category: “Healing Service”) without issue. When I narrowed it down to view the “Church” category, I did indeed seen the duplicates – sometimes pages full – of your events. And when I went into an existing event and attempted to change it I encountered your exact problem, complete with this message: http://d.pr/i/OkVL. I’m sort of stumped as to what could be causing this unless there’s something on the hosting side we’re not accounting for.
Just to confirm: this isn’t related to the problem with the recurrence dialogue in 3.6, is it? Where the options become grayed out like so: http://d.pr/i/Tfak. If you’ve not added the patch to your functions.php for that, let me know (since we may find it addresses this problem too).
WCKG: that does sound like a known bug we’ve got in the system at the moment but might not be related to Robin’s core problem. Have you checked to see if it’s described here (https://theeventscalendar.com/bug-hunting/)? If it isn’t please do open a new thread and we’ll get you sorted best we can. Thanks for your patience here.

MemberHey Joshua. Thanks for the follow-up; that’s really weird. Does this occur when you’re using both the Default Events Template and Default Page Template? Do the plugin-specific stylesheet settings have any impact (ie, reverting to none) in bringing back the events?
Please give those a shot, as they’re about the best I can offer up at the moment. Let me know how it goes and I’ll see if Barry has any other ideas from there.
August 28, 2013 at 9:30 am in reply to: 3.0 Update Save Recurring Event just Hangs in a Gray screen loop #63363Rob
MemberHi Geri: thanks for the follow-up. That snippet is definitely the solution that will do the trick (I just re-tested to verify), so my guess is it’s an implementation error – specifically that the PHP wrappers didn’t get stripped out before the code was added to functions.php. Copy from lines 3-10 of that snippet I provided and paste that into functions.php, and you should be set.
Let me know if you’re still stuck from there and I’ll do my best to get you sorted. Thanks!

MemberHi, Siamack: as we’ve mentioned in other forum threads / messaging here on the site, and as Kelly reiterated above, you’ll need to refund pro /a/ tri.be with a copy of your receipt to get a refund. The forum here is unfortunately not the appropriate venue for such a discussion and I’m closing this thread as a result.
Send us over that email and we’ll get your refund processed in as timely a fashion as possible. Thank you!

MemberHey again trevellyan! I have finally gotten you a snippet here that should help. This ought to add the scheduling data back into your single entries: https://gist.github.com/jazbek/6355989. You’d want to add this into your functions.php file.
You down to give it a shot and let me know your results? Thanks in advance!

MemberHey charlestupman: just wanted to check if you’d seen Samuel’s last note, and if so, whether we can close this one out.
