    Hi there,
    After I edit an event item to extend a reoccurrence, and click the post Update, I get the lightbox with a popup BEHIND the lightbox that says something to the effect of apply to this event or all events–this popup is also grayed out. The update circle just hangs and nothing happens. I have a screen shot, but there’s not an option to upload it here.

    Hi there Geri! Thanks for the note here, and my apologies for the inconvenience you’ve faced so far. This issue is unfortunately a known bug for sites running WordPress 3.6. We should have it patched in an impending monthly maintenance release very soon; but until then, we do have a snippet users can add to their functions.php file which should temporarily address the problem until the fix is deployed.

    That didn’t fix it. I added the code and then I got a functions.php site error – unexpected ‘<' in functions.php file.

    Hi Geri: thanks for the follow-up. That snippet is definitely the solution that will do the trick (I just re-tested to verify), so my guess is it’s an implementation error – specifically that the PHP wrappers didn’t get stripped out before the code was added to functions.php. Copy from lines 3-10 of that snippet I provided and paste that into functions.php, and you should be set.

    That worked! Thank you, yes. I had lines 1 and 2 in there. I tested it and now I’m so grateful to be able to make edits without making a whole new event item. Love this plugin, btw. Case closed!
