MemberThanks Jonah. Weird; according to our projects system, Caleb, and the testing we did against a number of use cases…this should have been fixed in the 2.0.3 release. If it wasn’t that means something else is at play. Do you still have problems if you change the permalink settings a bit?
Rob
MemberThat’s definitely a solid suggestion, John. We’ve had a number of users request this since the launch of 2.0. Let me run it by the devs…and thanks!

MemberHey Marc. I believe your third issue you posted in another thread already, right? If so let’s keep the discussion for it going over there.
On your first item: did the update to 2.0.3 fix this? It should have, but let me know if not (I may be misunderstanding the issue). If so can you send a link?
For problem number two: the featured image should display large above the item in the individual entry, but should be scaled down a bit in list view and turned into a thumbnail in the tooltip hover. Is it possible your theme is conflicting here?
Let me know about these and I can get a developer to chime in as needed.
Rob
MemberHey Kyle, I believe this is a duplicate of another thread that I’ve since responded to. Let me know if not; otherwise, let’s keep the discussion going over there.
Rob
MemberBelieve this is a duplicate thread, Jonny. I’ve answered in the other one. Let me know if I’m wrong there; otherwise let’s keep the discussion going on the corresponding thread.

MemberJonah, do you recall whether the issue was in 2.0.3 or 2.1? I’m unable to locate the ticket in question…
Rob
MemberHey Dan. That’s an odd error; if you want to send me your credentials (rob at tri.be) and some steps to recreate I will give it a go. I haven’t been able to recreate it but if it’s a problem with the forum we definitely want to get it patched up.
Not sure how to do this (it’s going to require some customization), but I’ll get one of our devs to take a look and see if they can offer up any suggestions. I know that such functionality has been requested a few times so it’ll likely make it into the official code base at some point or another as well.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear! that was going to be my next suggestion 🙂 Thanks for confirming, Kori. If anything else comes up please let us know.

MemberHey David. You should be able to add your PHP with the < code > tag. Like this:
Here is my code.Hope that helps. As for the core issue you asked about — a snippet of code — I’ll see what our developer Jonah can offer up. You can expect to hear from him shortly.

MemberThis is awesome, Matthieu! Thanks for sharing 🙂

MemberAh, excellent to hear you got this figured out Mariano. If anything else comes up, please let us know!
January 9, 2012 at 4:53 pm in reply to: Reducing the Event List view to something more manageable! #13069Rob
MemberHey Mike. Jason is correct in that a template override (question 1 under the “Customization” section) could do this, but it seems like it’d be even easier to just change the number of items that display in the loop to something manageable so it paginates after X amount of entries. This is controlled by whatever you’ve configured under Settings -> Reading. Wouldn’t that take care of the issue with too many events?
In terms of the format on that site you linked to: that looks slick, and we may incorporate something along those lines down the road, but at this point there’s unfortunately nothing out of the box to allow for that. We mostly just have grid/list view (as well as single day & venue view) at this point.
Hope that helps. Let me know if not.
Rob
MemberHey Mike. Thanks for pointing this out. This is a known issue that we’ve got logged as a priority bug for Events 2.1, which we’re working on now (since 2.0.3 is launched as of today). Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim until that’s released.
January 9, 2012 at 4:45 pm in reply to: image rotator on idex page stopped working with plug-in install #13067Rob
MemberHey Melissa. No guarantees since we can’t provide guarantees of direct integration with other plugins, but let me see if our developer Jonah has any suggestions for this. If not I’ll run it up the flagpole internally.
Rob
MemberHey Marc. This should have been fixed with the 2.0.3 update; can you confirm if so? If not, any chance for a link?
